TDM palm oil would be shortest distance & most convenient for China buyers. Just need to beef up Kertih port a little bit to handle the shipping & cargo filling.
For plantations closer to Kelantan border, e.g. Besut area, then maybe Too Bali port more convenient.

Maybe Terengganu state govt could even start making their own state level initiatives with Chinese companies to promote greater palm oil purchases by them.
For example, by conducting direct state level promotional &iven marketing visits by state trade delegations to China. No need to wait for federal govt to initiate everything.
TDM as a leading state govt linked company in Terengganu can then play a leading & active role in these visits.
These could then even lead to the conception & birth of other state driven projects like infrastructure development, e.g. highways, bridges etc., even manufacturing industries, to complement the federal driven ECRL.

Yes, patience is a very important investing skill. Unfortunately, not every investor has the natural character for it. Especially the short termers. They do not understand that it is in fact not a sign of weakness, but actually a towering pillar of strength.

We long holders are not the problem. All we want is for Dayang to prosper, and thereby also for us to prosper.
It is the other side that is creating all the trouble. Thay just want to see Dayang crash. So they just keep doing nothing else but trashing Dayang all the time.

LOL. But it is not Yew Yin's job to give peace of mind to anybody. If they cannot manage to find it for themselves, then tough.

I would be more inclined to agree with the line taken by CoolBull. I do not see much point in anyone wasting their time & my time coming in, if all that they want to do is to diss & downgrade Dayang & to talk bad about Dayang.
As an investor, I want Dayang's price to rise, not to drop.

Just the IB parts of PBB & HLB would be enough. Would make my day.
And Kenanga should have their TP downgraded. 90 sen is way too high for them. 35 sen is more like it.

With much, very much business uncertainty surrounding the Brexit thing, not a few restless but wealthy Brits would quite logically be looking for somewhere attractive for parking their money productively.
So, if I were someone like that, after having obtained all the relevant info, I could just be thinking to myself:
Hey. Why not Malaysia. Why not O&G. Why not Dayang.
There you go.
And you guys all thought, with all your profound propensity for iddiot grade conspiracy theories, that Yew Yin was just out to UK for some sinister reason, like escaping Dayang related stress, sheer frustration & disappointment etc. etc. etc.
Well, think again.

I propose the investigation to be expanded to include all shorting iddiot dikkhedd dogfarts in Dayang, including T-ass-DI.
Becos they all colluded with them 3 bittch IBs to make Dayang's price crash big time last week.

Yet again, reflection of the ever burgeoning market confidence in O&G.
Mention is made of Dayang's turnaround with so called RM97.2 'net profit for the year'. Which is really a significant error, becos RM97.2 mil is actually PAT for Q4FY18 alone. Full year PAT for 2018 is actually much more than RM97.2 mil.
Yup. Writers can be so sloppy sometimes.

People are still buying Carimin. They have not dumped Carimin at all, although Yew Yin has openly declared that he has sold all his Carimin stock. Why. Becos no bittch IB has messed with Carimin yet.

And why has Kenanga's own TP of 90 not been downgraded. It is certainly not doing fantastic at all.
2019-03-24 15:47 | Report Abuse
Properly conducted downgrading is okay. But 3 bittch IBs descending on a well performing firm in an obvious collusion, issuing a downgrade report on 3 successive trading days to make its price crash, while sparing two other similar fast risers in the same sector, is not okay. That is why we have a SC. To prevent abuses like this happening.

I am not interested at all in any ghoulish ghost story or crrappy conspiracy theory about Dayang.
I am only interested in the reality parts.
The reality parts as evidenced by jobs secured & in hand, the mostrecent QRs especially the PAT, stronger oil prices the scenario & outlook on the ground for O&G sector, increased capex by Petronas etc.
(ghost stories + conspiracy theories) vs reality?
I will have the reality any time, tqvm.
2019-03-22 02:10 | Report Abuse
Ghost stories are always so fanciful & so entertaining, especially when you're huddled up in the dark, listening in rapt attention to a master ghost-story teller.
Conspiracy theories are a bit like ghost stories. Entertainig to hear on an otherwise boring day.
But in both cases, only good for passing the time.
Becos ghosts do not exist. While conspiracy theories are true & real only in one's imagination.
Yes, one can indeed earn a living selling ghost stories & conspiracy theories.
But they are just not real.

What Kenanga should have done is, kencing dalam tempurung & tengok muka sendiri, before downgrading Dayang.
2019-03-20 16:13 | Report Abuse
Kenanga downgraded Dayang TP based on fundamental guidelines? Really?
Then Kenanga should also downgrade Kenanga TP from 90 sen to to 34 sen.
2019-03-19 05:45 | Report Abuse
Kenanga is doing much, much worse than Dayang in terms of business performance. It's in fact quite obvious from just looking at Kenanga's price & volume.
So, Dayang should rightly be downgrading Kenanga's TP from 90 sen to maybe only about 25 sen.

Kenanga tak laku. Dayang laku like hot goreng pisang.
Dayang surging relentlesdly toward RM2. Kenanga languishing at 52.5 sen.
Dayang volume topping 50 mil units every day. Kenanga volume struggling to break 35,000 units.
It is all about sheer jealousy & envy. Kenanga is just being a bittch.

I would like to propose some new businesses for the new TDM top management to consider expanding into, if they have not done it already.
1. Oleochemicals
2. Palmwood furniture
3. Rubberwood furniture (if they happen to have rubber plantation in their very extensive land bank)
4. Property development (maybe even extend to building construction later on)
5. Animal husbandry (rearing of goats, cattle, maybe also deer, on a large commercial scale on some of the land)
6. Hospitality (hotels, motels, homestay accommodation etc.)
7. Fruits & vegetables farming
8. Farming of herbs (mengkudu, misai kucing, tongkat ali, kacip fatimah etc. on large commercial scale with a view to exporting the manufactured products)
