People be aware that all Issuers of Warrants have a disclaimer. It says, ' 70% to 75% Investors in Derivative Warrants lose money.

Top Glove is way too Undervalued. For a company that has grown Investors wealth by 1000% over time and is generating Billions in Net Profits the price of its share is worth atleast 3X more than today's price.

The only people it benefits are the issuers. I have been consistently requesting all authorities to enforce disclosure norms for issuers dealing in the underlying shares. That is a must.

The Warrants are a disaster for retail investors. Both for those who buy them and for those who don't.

A little Trivia for the information of those ill-informed, caustic IB employees:

1. There are 13 Stock Exchanges in the USA. Of these, NYSE is the largest with a Market Cap of US$ 25 TRILLION. In comparison KLSE's Market Cap is US$ 430 Billion.

This is for the information of those who said that Derivatives exist in other markets too. Yes they do. But the markets are large and diverse enough to ensure that manipulation is impossible.Therefore, for all practical purposes do have derivatives BUT ensure transparency, Have disclosure norms, make compliance stricter and fair to ALL participants, especially the small retail participants. They are large in number and vulnerable AND they are the people that make up the nation.

At a time when there is a crying need to provide a demand push for the economy as a whole, anything that destroys value of an otherwise great industry should be construed as anti national.

It is only appropriate that everyone, from individual investors, banking, regulators, government ensure the health of this industry .

Gloves is the ONLY Industrial segment that is doing well in these very difficult times. And it derives from the Primary Industry of Malaysia, the Rubber sector.

If Bursa and/or SC has approved it(which obviously they have), Where are the disclosure norms ? Why are they not in the public domain ?

If a company listed on the Bursa is required to disclose trading in its own shares(to mitigate insider trading), WHY are the IB's not required to report their trading in their instruments. Now, you will tell me they are reporting trading in the Warrants. The warrants are issued against the share of a company. Therefore, their trading in those shares are to be considered insider trading too. You cannot have the cake and eat it too and get the public to pay for it.

Thats my point/ Fair value of the Warrants? I dont want to know. What I want to know is after I have bought shares of a company, who allowed an Investment Bank to issue an instrument over a companys' share , which takes away my right to appropriate valuation ? What is the Transparency norms that are in place to enable people like me to be informed that there is no 'Conflict of Interest' or in other words 'Insider Trading' ? What ever happened to good governance ?

Learn what ? How to litigate against an unfair practice in Malaysia? We know and we will.

i3gambler. no idea what the purpose of your exercise is. The moot question is 'How do the Structured Warrants affect the valuation of the underlying shares ?' Take into account the millions of shares that are in the hands of people who have not bought Warrants. Who is the ultimate Gainer?

I have historical data of Structured Warrants(Plenty of it). They all point to one thing. That the people who bought shares of companies have no right nor control over their investment because of some intermediary Investment Bank issuing Warrants over them. Obviously the issuer has enough money power to ensure that their bet is met. Typical of any Gambling board. The dealer always wins, end of the day right?

The IB's are welcome to issue warrarnts BUT must be made accountable to disclose their trading activity on the underlying share.
