Use dividend to increase public spread.. can't stop retail investors to take profit when share price is up..

..my opinion is sb perhaps the mgt of the co needs to stabilize the share price of the co is primarily impt to enable the retailers to keep the shares...not like now share price tumbles tremendous when QR announced..

As at 27 Jan 2021, public spreading is around 23.90 %. Bursa Malaysia allows extension up to July 2021. After few days ago heavy sold down, probably now the public spreading is below 22%

If you are the management of the company what should you do .? The simplest action is to use proxies names and buy in to meet the requirements..

Further selldown will only encourage more retailers to sell..

If a product is well accepted by customers it will show a upward demand trend. You buy in this type of share is safer because the price is well support by the upward demand. You may buy in at a higher price but later on if you look back, the price you bought may not be high because the demand of the product is increasing. I don't mind to buy at a higher share price for a well accepted product.

If your product is at the initial stage of production , you can buy in at the lower share price but may be facing the product be totally swiped out from the market..the most I only put around 5% of my capital to 'bet' it.

opinion is that the later one is more risky.

Nope. I sold some this morning @ RM0.58 because the prospect of the co is still not certain...I couldn't sleep soundly if I hold too many shares of this counter..

The operator of this co like to play play the price.

However if the price can hold at RM 0.50 for a week at least and volume traded is not large (below 10 million share per day) then uptrend is probable..

This counter maybe the last semi-conductor related co with bright prospect that hasn't fully reflect its real value..

Year 2021 belongs to semi-conductor co..I will also top-up some foreign giant co e.g. Taiwan Semi Conductor Co Ltd (ADR) listed in New Yew Stock Exchange..may regret in my life if no adding semi-conductor companies in Year 2021 in my portfolio...
