@Morpheus61.... if I am not wrong, ordinary folks like us don’t buy through investment bankers. Investment bankers manage unit trusts and if we invest in unit trusts, the IBs manage the fund and they are the ones with the buying power cos they have a lot of money to play with.

Anyone know anything about Careplus being a shitty useless non profitable fly by night company we have been so bloody stupid to put our money in, please let me know now so i can dump all my shares on Monday ?

Serious question ...is Careplus fundamentally weak and we shouldn’t have any confidence in its performance?
And should we react to all the market sentiments and quickly cut loss on Monday? Cos there may be no contra trading from Monday onwards?

Even if real I think it’s only going to cause a temporary downturn. If one has the money to pay for the shares, it makes no difference, right? It might limit trading to only those who have the financial means to invest. Share trading is no longer available to anybody.

Guess if you can’t really afford to invest and am only looking to make a quick few dollars here and there and worse can’t afford to hold, better Leave your money in the bank. If you are pouring scorn on the investors, basically calling us stupid for not leaving a sinking ship...that’s ok. We have the financial means to dabble, hold when we need to and revisit another day. That much I have learnt so far. Siapa beli pun tak payah menangis. Unless you’ve borrowed heavily and dumped all your money into careplus last week and you have to repay your loan on Monday. In that scenario, I’ll lend you my shoulder to cry on.

It’s a correction, believe the experienced analyst who said it will rally for a while longer. Bukan up limit selama lama ya lah!

If you’re asking that question, I guess you haven’t got a vested interest in Careplus and you are in this forum to feel smug and superior that you’re not losing money like me.

I am not that stupid to live in denial all the time but I made a call not to sell last week because Careplus is doing something positive, to expand and make be more profitable. My intention is to invest in a profitable company and at the moment, it’s the glove counters. COVID is sadly gonna be here for a little while. A safe vaccine won’t be available immediately. I am hoping to make some money during the rally and I will keep a few shares because I think Carelus has potential to grow. Aren’t we all here to make some money? Isn’t this what investing is about. It might be an Ace market now, and it’s Ace because it didn’t have a proven track record last year and this year, it’s starting to. It won’t be ace market forever.
It’s not a fly by night company nor will their directors suddenly develop shit for brains nor will something happen to reverse its growth suddenly and in the short term.
This is a small blip according to analysts and experienced investors like Mr Koon. I don’t know who he is apart from what I can glean from his blog. But a very new investor like me would like to be positive and would like to learn how to make the right call.
If I lose money in the process, call that my tuition fee: I have made some money too. What I hope to see in forums like this is really sharing of information in a civilised and thoughtful manner.
I got no experience and I try to meen from others. So keep talking, just make your comments a bit more meaningful.

@profitgrow...you might be “trapped” but have a little faith, the rally is not over. Why is everyone believing the most negative comments and ignore the positive ones from say, Citi? The analyst said the rally will go on for a while more...I know he didn’t say forever but we are still in the game.
I think sometimes people who have gotten out are just sitting in here mocking the ones who can’t get out yet. Maybe even secretly enjoying our pain and feeling superior because they made all the right decisions.
Please, just relax and if it’s red, ignore it...never think of focussing on green or just be a little bit more positive and optimistic

I have a newbie question....so people are selling heavily for various reasons, and people are also buying what they’re selling. Doesn’t this mean that there’s a good chance the share price will go up eventually? I mean, it should as long as the fundamentals are still there and the company is doing well? Otherwise why would anyone even buy when people are so scared they’re selling like mad.

@TradetoInvest....I agree....if the Russian Vaccine works....big if though. Frankly, my personal choice would be to continue to social distance, keep my mask on and use gloves and sanitiser.

For me, being such a newbie, yup, I am a little worried and seeing comments like faster sell....sigh....what to do....I’m going to chill in the garden instead. As new as I am, I know what goes up must come down and vice versa....I saw a few comments yesterday....there were similar dips in other glove counters in May when there were vaccine news.
