After stagnant for so long, most investors here have strong holding power. They won't let go easily. Individually it is a question of selling and reinvest in other goreng counters only thereafter make or lose is totally different matter.

This counter is like fishing in deep sea...have to wait for days and nights just to land that big fish.

Anwar try to invite Muhyddin to negotiate with him just like with Badawi, but no one is biting. Everyone know he is bluffing. No thanks to him for stock market to fall.

Question: Does IRIS need NIIS to survive? Or without NIIS, will IRIS go bankrupt? Why yes or no? That will clear your mind whether to buy, hold or sell.
2020-09-24 17:14 | Report Abuse
Businesswise, IRIS is on good footing. It is the public confidence on the shares that is affecting the prices. Having said that, no matter how much the prices fluctuate, it does not affect company cash flow unless it pledges its shares to the bank for loans. The only thing that will affect is the private placement which is expected to happen next month.

I cut loss at 275 and 265, keep the rest and it is still dropping. No thanks Anwar. No more votes for you.

With or without Niis, IRIS moves on. It does not depend solely on Malaysian market as it exports globally. Neither it depends on political connections to secure contracts. Its PP resolution is now approved, the company can now issue shares as and when required. Its problematic loss making ventures from Stamford College to renewable energy had been chopped off. It is marching forward...

Myeg director is Umno Supreme council member, Datasonic connection to Zahid and its Chairman is Tun M brother in law. Iris is neutral to all. :)

Iris do not need Niis to survive. It had been proven since Dsonic took over the chip supply in 2016. Simply cos it has its own patented designs that is wanted worldwide.

Politically connected counters like Destini badly hit today. Is Iris politically linked?

Good thing Iris had diversified to international markets, so I forsee local political conditions will not affect the business badly. Anyway, Iris has its own markets and proprietory products.

Today agm resolution is to enable company to issue shares for PP without agm/egm. This means until now, PP cannot be done yet unless got shareholders agreement, even though Bursa gave approval already. After today passing of resolution, prices sure shoot, cos anytime can raise funds based on average prices of the day.

The weaknesses in the myIMMs system are not new, and had been highlighted in the Malaysian Auditor-General’s 2015 Report. Among other things, it said the system was not functioning satisfactorily.

PPAP - Pre Production Approval Process is very normal for any large scale supplies especially when it is custom engineered. This is where quality, process control, consistency and performance is carefully checked with capacity to supply within time frame.
