@tesune0316 C1A is more or less similar to C96, but with cheaper price & longer expiry date. Gearing is good if compared with its peers. Premium within acceptable range. In my opinion C1A will be the next C96, volume will slowly catch up with C96. I held both, slowly switching to C1A bit by bit. :)

@aiesecer Same thoughts with you too my friend, currently other than the mother share, i'm holding some extra play stash in C96 & C1A, ratio 50:50. Once C96's volume started to drop, i will switch all to C1A then, C1A will be the next C96. :)

million pieces of medical gloves per annum). To expedite the Expansion Plans and to
meet the demand for medical gloves, the Group has already identified the supply of the
4 new production lines from a few suppliers. The remaining production lines are to be
gradually set up over the course of 36 months. The production lines are expected to be
installed in the existing manufacturing facilities of PGSB located in Sungai Petani,
Kedah.

Presently, PGSB has gloves manufacturing facilities located in Sungai Petani, Kedah
with installed production lines capable of manufacturing work gloves. Upon the
completion of the Proposed Acquisition, in addition to continuing PGSB’s existing
business in the manufacture and sale of work gloves, the Group intends to venture into
the Manufacture of Medical Gloves business. The Group intends to install and
commission up to 20 new productions lines within 36 months to manufacture medical
grade nitrile examination gloves which is expected to yield a production capacity of up
to 3.0 billion pieces of gloves per annum.
These additional production lines are intended to be installed at PGSB’s existing
manufacturing facilities. The estimated capital expenditure required to install and
commission all the 20 production lines is approximately RM180 million. As a start, the
Group intends to allocate approximately RM36 million to install and commission a total
of 4 new production lines for the manufacture of medical grade nitrile examination
within the next 4 months upon completion of the acquisition of PGSB. With the 4
production lines, the Group will have an annual production capacity of approximately
600 million pieces medical grade nitrile examination gloves per annum.

You got your point my friend, let's say they succeed to acquire Pearl Glove, even though if they bypass the first stage(producing medical gloves), there's still the next stage yet to be overcome(marketing medical gloves). However the process might also be vice versa(marketing first before production)...all depends on their own marketing plan, we as outsiders can only roughly make an assumption on it. Although Pearl Glove/AT Glove is not as big as Top Glove, but at least they have their own r&d department, the sparrow may be small but all its vital organs are there.

I agree with you that selling medical gloves to the big boys in overseas is not an easy task, many requirements needed. Anyhow i think with the lack of supply which unable to meet the overwhelmed demand around the world, AT Gloves might have a fair chance to penetrate into the market. Given our country is among the top latex rubber producer in the world(cheaper & easier to get raw materials), i believe Malaysia-based glove companies may have an edge in competing with others. Don't ever underestimate a small company, oftenly there are some niche markets or situations which favors the small guys since the big guys are "too big to make a small maneuver", small guys are more flexible.

Yes maybe some of you might still emphasizes on how to get the license in such a short period, our friend @Stockiss had shed some light on it. As an add-on, i think if there's a will, there's always a way. As an experienced business man, "license" is just a very small matter to me. :)

All in all, it's just my 2 cents. I'm on the slight optimistic side in buying in the future of glove related industries. Sometimes being pessimistic is understandable, but if being too pessimistic might miss some potentially good opportunities.
