If you noticed, beginning of March, prices were not moving as much, during which Covid have already spread seriously in CHINA and EUROPE also USA but glove stocks did not rally until MAY. It started to move right after a well know investor in Malaysia name "K" share an article about gloves and thereafter his followers and other smart insiders started to buy in heavily in May causing price to shoot up.

Looking back at the recent movement, definitely some left during the peak but he told me not to worry, as he can see that they are starting to buy back again. When all glove company posting good result, price start to fall, and come with numerous bad news like margin capping cut, windfall tax, china glove expansion. He tell me this is all planned by big local fund to trick normal retailer into panic sell.

Simply, many fund houses has yet to enter because they have to wait for result release for confirmation, they couldn’t just buy based on expectation. They require real facts & data to access risk and reward for long term. He explained that most of the fund will not enter just for a few days or weeks, some of the fund usually invest for at least half to one year or even longer but prices already shoot up by smart investor/insider and therefore they need to get their "people" to issue some bad news to reduce confident of investors. With bursa having to ban short selling, prices are even harder to go down without any bad news.



ME : (I start to get confused). So I just hold and wait for it to go higher or should I sell?

Then you should consider now as an opportunity to increase your position ! Every fund house is buying quietly now because next few quarter result already confirm to be better than the previous one. If you look at most of the bank research, you can see that especially SUPERMX and TOPGLOV have higher Price Target because Fund houses are actually buying this two compare to the others. He further explained, some fund are stuck with many stocks during March flash crash, they only just managed to exit some and start allocating to glove stock as gloves is the only shining business now.

Zuliana Kuala Lumpur, 27th) China's two major glove producers intend to expand production capacity, which may lead to an oversupply of gloves. However, analysts believe that the new supply is not a one-time influx into the market, and there is no need to worry too much at this stage.

The media recently reported that China's Blue Sail Medical and Intco Medical plan to expand the production capacity of nitrile gloves in the next three years.

CIMB Research has learned that Lanfan Medical's goal is to increase production capacity to 36.1 billion by the end of 2023; last year's production capacity was 4.3 billion. The British Medical Plan has increased from 5 billion to 59.2 billion.

"However, there is no need to worry too much about the market's dilemma of oversupply."

Analysts pointed out that China's 86 billion (270 to 320 production lines) nitrile gloves will soon enter the market. It is estimated that if all goes well, only 7.7 billion or 9.9% will be put on the market by the end of this year.

"As for other new production capacity, we understand that some plants have not yet finalized their locations, and new production lines may be delayed for commissioning, resulting in new production capacity that needs to be put into operation in batches, which also gives the market room to digest these supplies."

The two countries accounted for over a third of all new cases in the past week. Brazil reported a record 54,700 new cases on June 19. Some researchers said the death toll in Latin America could rise to over 380,000 by October, from around 100,000 this week.

The total number of cases continued to increase at a rate of between 1-2% a day in the past week, down from rates above 10% in March.

Countries including China, New Zealand and Australia have seen new outbreaks in the past month, despite largely quashing local transmission.

In Beijing, where hundreds of new cases were linked to an agricultural market, testing capacity has been ramped up to 300,000 a day.

The United States, which has reported the most cases of any country at more than 2.5 million, managed to slow the spread of the virus in May, only to see it expand in recent weeks to rural areas and other places that were previously unaffected.

In some countries with limited testing capabilities, case numbers reflect a small proportion of total infections. Roughly half of reported infections are known to have recovered.

North America, Latin America and Europe each account for around 25% of cases, while Asia and the Middle East have around 11% and 9% respectively, according to the Reuters tally, which uses government reports.

There have been more than 497,000 fatalities linked to the disease so far, roughly the same as the number of influenza deaths reported annually.

The first cases of the new coronavirus were confirmed on Jan 10 in Wuhan in China, before infections and fatalities surged in Europe, then the United States, and later Russia.

The pandemic has now entered a new phase, with India and Brazil battling outbreaks of over 10,000 cases a day, putting a major strain on resources.
