HY is not ABC share which speculate without fundamental eps back up. With at least eps of rm 3 is the best in BURSA. This few days steep fall due to syndicate create fear so that they can buy cheap when HY shareholders (big/small)emotionally panic.

Fundamentally still very good but due to fear , emotional step in when hell break loose. I believe price will rebound 1 to 3 rm when fear and sentiments subside hopefully soon maybe tomorrow.

Current price is 12 , 4 days of steep fall of rm5 , will you take the risk to sell now and bottom fish at what price?

Petronm current price rm13
Additional 90,000 barrel need to spent rm14 billion
HY current capacity 120,000-156,000 barrel and only worth rm14 only?
Note: HY 2017 eps 3+ and Petronm 2017 eps only 1+

RexGB Was looking to grab some Hengyuan shares but report from China National Petroleum Corp (one of the largest integrated energy groups in the world) means worsening market condition for HY.

So far don't see strong argument against CNPC report though Stockraider gave few comments (appreciated).

With refined oil from China flooding market in 2018, that will mean crack spread will drop down. HY profits, PE & fundamental will become worse. Does not seems like a good idea to invest in a company with worsening 2018 financial prospect?

Like all Red Chips, if you still think Hengyuan is making 5 ringgit or 10 ringgit a year, and expect windfall dividend, you might as well wait for Xinquan to declare a 10 sen dividend.

Sama-sama lah, all are red chips.

Don't believe, check CAP, Maxwell, CSL, Xinquan, Xinghe, Kanger, CNOuhua, all were PE 1.5x, and all cannot afford to pay dividend.

Later on fire will break out in their factories/ refinery.
