the price of hostile takeover and failed, is very costly as the owner would chase the stock higher together with u. then u ended up with lots of stocks at high price but find no buyer later and no controlling stake. useless.

hostile take over can be successful in Msia? my toe also laughing, the last time Govt wanted to hostile take over IOI I donno whether u had started looking at stock mkt or not.
even govt also failed.
