Buy signals emerge. Passengers switch to airasia instead of MAS, making airasia earning more money. Passengers pay higher price for tickets, don't care about MAS anymore.

what do u mean Q1 result "ok ok" only ? how much is 'ok ok" only ? another guessing game? so lets talk abt future, u have emphasise abt the RM3 and oso higher cost ? yr research shown that there will be how many % increase in cost ? how abt their revenue ? how much is the impact from VMY 2014 ? what is the number of passengers ? what is the reason of moving lcct to KLIA2 ? have u visited KLIA2 ? do u have all this study since u sounded like an expert to warn the forumers here ( even u claimed Q1 result ok ok ) ? guys , pls give facts and stop giving wrong info with guessing.
2014-05-18 11:48 | Report Abuse
u said " Many oredi know first quater profit except retail investor?" mind to tell us what is their Q1 profit ? Pls scroll up and read yr comment that u claimed that it will affect AA quarterly profit by 30 mil. , be precise. Wow lau eh! now talk abt PN17 ? soooooooooo scary man!!!!!! must sell oredi ar? hahahahahahah ,
2014-05-18 11:17 | Report Abuse
RM3 x10 mil =30 mil will affect the quarterly profit , how to affect the profit when u oso said the cost oredi transferred to customer , further KLIA2 only open Q2 not Q1 la. we are talking abt Q1 result la. earlier u oso mentioned the Indian business here., this is Air Asia la not AAX la. Son, wrong forum with wrong timing and wrong logic la . hahahaha, cant tahan la , i lazy to answer such nonsense any more.

Wow! so scary man!!!!! like that die lor, Monday must quickly sell man! wow! KLIA2 is LV bag man !!! scare!!! RM3 is very high impact ar !!!! impact to who ? u made me laugh la. . Aiya, u oredi answered the cost transfer to customers mar. What has it got to do with AA Q1 result ? Wow! AA got 10 mil passenger, so u think the result still no good ar? Research work is not based on LV bag or Future MAs restructuring only. when Mas restructuring only talk la. it may be few years later la ! But what has it got to do with AA Q1 result ? let do not make "guessing" comment. professional research is not based on a few pieces of news. we are nobody to access to their in depth info except RM3. . Yr LV bag and RM3 AA charges, Mas restructuring are not convincing to impact Q1 result la . pls be focus , do not spin around. u must know what u are talking . i have laughed enuf today , pls dont create more jokes, ..hhhhhhahahahaha

Only few peoples know about the company structure of air Asia and AAX. How many percent of AAX share are owned by Air Asia ? well, the fact will reveal on Tuesday night. it is quite confusing when someone claimed that KLIA2 will incur further cost to Air asia, yet stated that the cost of RM3 has transferred to the customer which is a contradict statement. it indicated the forumer was trying to enlarge an unreal matter to worsen Air Asia. RM3 is too peanut matter to worsen air asia la. i definitely reserve my trust for such comment. For me, i have my choice to trust MIDF, Maybank and CIMB professional research team unless someone able to show me abt his real identity from any big research company, otherwise , it is another "EMPTY" talk only without proof . i am firmed that Q1 result will be good. it is my own monies to invest.

yifie_911 , well said, buy when fear. Precisely, it is our monies , not other's money . i think he posted wrong forum ler.

Let do not confuse here, AAX’s core biz is outbound flight, Air Asia major income will be from inbound/Domestic flight which it monopolies 90% of domestic sales. This is the reason that recently it was upgraded with it’s TP by CIMB at 2.80, MIDF 3.50 and become the top pick of Maybank. With Air Asia monopolies 90% of inbound sales, there is no reason it does not produce a good profit. Even with the presence of Malindo , the thread is very mild as Malindo only has limited schedule and limited flight to limited area only. ie, Malindo only flies to Sibu twice a week. Q1’s was a festival season which will contribute higher sales revenue. I expect a good result out on Tues’ evening. let dont argue , we ill know by Tues evening .

Beso , precisely and agreed with u , each of the investor has his own preference, why do someone must keep cursing yr choice is wrong, and the stock is going to crash? it is my decision , my money and my choice. why he so bother. ? further using different Id to login to comment is ugly .he does not own this forum, everyone has his own choice , do not force other to follow his two pieces of statistic to sentence the counter death. further when the result announced is good as anticipated . i jsut want o know how he hide with embarrassment. seriously, we do not judge a company with two pieces of statistic. how immature to judge this way . it is called donkey , he thought he is smart to obtain those preliminary info and act so pandai . it does not confirm a company profit/loss why so childish to keep repeating the same message. it is an act of donkey .
rose, i agreed with u

based on 2 statistic but ignore their other business such as courier, F&B and others , and jump into conclusion to guesss the profit/loss of a company is not mature but childish . ofcoz MIDF oso have these statistic. they have their facts to justify the Q1 profit. i will prefer to trust their in house research rather than the so called two piece of statistic , what if the result come out and is align with MIDF estimate. then u will realise it is immature to invest in stock market. in stock market , it is not simple, wheh u think it will be down, it will be up and vice versa
2014-05-08 16:00 | Report Abuse
by looking at two simple statistic to determine a company profit/loss, it iis kidding . all of us will get rich by looking at statistic lor.

if a badminton coach is so good in badminton , they sld compete in the games instead of giving coaching. Remember a football coach may not necessary to know how to play football . . if a fortune teller is good, he sld be rich , and do not need to be a fortune teller. my friend works in a company helping big boys like KWSP to buy share, they are forbidden to even own a CDS account. there is the ethic for these professional . if the statistic can earn money ,everyone oso rich oredi ,. do not need anyone pandai pandai show statistic and try to show how smart he is .
2014-05-08 14:39 | Report Abuse
I will prefer to trust the professional research team , rather than looking at repeating statistic here . it does not give a answer. ofcos air ticket price is another major factor contribute to the sales revenue. Beside , their F&B sales is another profit contribution

PETALING JAYA - AirAsia Bhd is expected to record a steady core net profit of RM105 million in the first quarter of the financial year ending Dec 31, 2014 (FY14) despite going through a challenging phase in the industry, according to MIDF Research.
AirAsia reported a 2.8% improvement in load factor to 80.7% for its operation in Malaysia, traffic revenue passenger kilometres (RPK) and available seat kilometres (ASK) grew 6.9% and 3.2% respectively.
However, AirAsia delivered mix operating results across overseas associates, with the Thailand operation seeing a drop of 7%, due to the political turmoil as well as an increase in seat capacity by 27%.
While the load factor for operations in Indonesia improved slightly by 2.2% to 76.7% on the back of strong RPK traffic growth at 17%, operations in the Philippines experienced a slow start to the year with a load factor at 66% after the merger of the fleet with Zest Air.
AirAsia is scheduled to announce its first quarter results on May 20.
MIDF Research in a note yesterday said that a 5% decline in fuel price should moderately offset the 7% decline in ringgit in the first quarter.
On average, US$/RM exchange rate had weakened by 7.1% to RM3.30 in the first quarter, which will inflate the import cost of fuel price and interest expenses.
"Nonetheless, we expect AirAsia to contend with the cost inflation as the average spot jet fuel price was lower by 5%," MIDF Reseach said.
AirAsia also plans to slash its non-fuel unit cost component by 4-5% this year.
MIDF Research has maintained a "buy" call on Airasia due to its long-term prospects, but the target price of RM3.47 is currently under review, with a downward bias to reflect industry fundamentals.
MIDF Research believes the lingering intense competition will likely put a dent in the recovery of fare yield, with a double digit decline in ticket yield but an improving ancillary yield.
Yield pressure and adverse forex movement are likely to dampen its near-term earnings, however, long term travel demand is in favour of low cost carriers and their superior cost advantages should solidify their competitive position.
AirAsia opened up four new domestic routes in the first quarter, namely Miri-Terengganu/Penang and Kuching–Langkawi/Kota Baru, as part of its yield management strategy by enhancing its network connectivity.

Lollipot, agreed , but it is unavoidable that all counters also have traders participation, but think of this , the total share for Hohup is merely 219k compare to Inari which is 497k share, DatukThong and other directors oredi hold major portion of the share, so the share available in the market is very limited which will not impact the market so much , With their projects launches and continuous impressive performance, , the price will only keep moving up, may even faster than Inari RM3 .dont forget they still have die hard fans who bought at RM 5 to 7 last time.
