Thanks sifu hng33
By the way, i think the recent sell-down is not from the big shareholders, since no announcement in bursa website?
But, who did the sell down recently?

I have watched the youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-C4iBV_PMs&feature=share
In fact, the guru is correct in the way that receivable is getting higher (not yet translated to revenue). And, looking at the FY19 report, receivable for FY 19 is 577 mil (400 mil in FY 18).
But, there is one thing we must understand, the huge increase in receivable is due to the near-completion of the LSS2 solar farm in Negeri Sembilan.
This is the nature of concession based business, i.e. cypark becomes the asset owner of the plant and operate them in long run (< 20 years). This would ensure a constant recurring income.
Cypark has no other choice but to raise the susuk bond to fund the project. Otherwise, how to get money to build power plant? You think cheap meh to build power plant.
Also, I am not quite agree that the guru in the youtube said that no fund manager would buy it. You can have a look on the top 30 largest shareholder in the annual report, EPF, ASB, Great Eastern Fund, Public Bank Mutual Fund, are all there..
As compared to the Slvest (somewhat competitor to Cypark), its share price is crazy and not justificable. PE for Slvest is 30 (and people still keep buying). Pbbank so keng, PE also 12 only le. For those Slvest investors, please awake.

Lim7722, be patient. I m not saying that I like the government in Malaysia. I totally agree with u the way they handle the racial issue here.
The thing I want to highlight is don't simply compare the governance of Singapore with us here in Malaysia. In Malaysia, the politics is much more complicated compared to the tiny Singapore. Put yourself in the similar situation. Would you manage a large group better, or the small one?
And, I am not saying that Singapore government is incompetent. Their Minister's are all stars, almost no corruption. But my point is: could they manage Malaysia as good as how they manage Singapore?
2019-10-12 11:06 | Report Abuse
Raint, u r right Singapore government is competent. But we must aware that Singapore is so small, and meanwhile governed by so many talents graduated from world class University. They are expected to do a good job, isn't it?
Back to Malaysia, we are way bigger than Singapore. And most importantly, we deal with so many races. If PM Lee could govern Malaysia as good as Singapore, then I can say they are good la...
Governing a small country is way different than governing a big one. Singapore could flourish because of its location and harbour and of course good governance. But considering governing such a small country, is it worth to be proud of?
You will laugh when listening to their issues debated in the parliament.

I remembered cold eye in his book saying that we should emulate epf to become a long term investor. But what I see now epf acts like day-trader that do stock buying and selling within two days!! Really shame on them.... Since they are the big shark, they would be able to create all those technical buy signals so that ppl (trader) would follow.

Dunno what happen to this stock.. price keep on pressing down. I doubt is big fish as there is no change in shareholder announcement. Does it mean small share holders who dump the share?

Almost all banks except Maybank report improved quarter report. If opr rate is the culprit why other banks can cope with that?
Any sifu can advise?

walao, what happend to MAGNI today??
2018-06-25 15:08 | Report Abuse
private placement at RM 2.18 / share. Now already below RM 2.18. So strange.....
2018-06-25 15:07 | Report Abuse
what happen to this counter lately? Keep dropping?
2018-02-17 16:37 | Report Abuse
Not sure whether directors are stupid.
The market is punishing magni for not doing well on 2018. I believe those technical analysts are dumping the share for their so-called "technical" reasons, i.e.. break below SMA lines, Macd line etc..
There might be many reasons why the big directors are buying the share. But, considering their buying volume and effort in purchasing the shares almost every day when magni hits rm4 to rm5, they might know something that we never know. They are not independent directors, but the managing director and founder of magni. They know the inside out of magni. Remember, they are holding millions of magni shares and I am very sure they would not let magni fail. Plus, magni is a very good company and I do see any reason why we should dump this share.

Today KLCI up, MAGNI down again....... I really dunno why. This counter that bad meh??
Its drop is too steep.. I could not do anything at all.
However, I still keep.
To chesslim:
chesslim Magni price down but without volume, mean why, you know i know.
Can you advise on what you meant by your previous comment?

Maybank declares DRP again. Guys, is it worth to take it? The DRP last time at rm8.35 has taken the investor to hell!!
Any advise?
2016-08-03 16:08 | Report Abuse
Yes, DRP = dividend reinvestment plans.
I am wondering why Maybank got so many impairment cmp to Public Bank. PBBank always show good result even in this economic situation. But what happen to Maybank? Revenue is increasing, but, thanks to impairment, profit reduces.. sigh...
Maybank simply borrow money is it??
Any ideas, tai koh tai jeh??
2016-08-03 16:04 | Report Abuse
Now maybank got 10 bil share. Thanks to the DRP for keep on diluting our share!! If they declare DRP again this quarter, please take cash then.
2016-08-03 15:58 | Report Abuse
Guys, I am pity on those who took DRP at RM 8.35 previously. Their dividents are all tied up in the stock.
Better take cash what. Otherwise, DRP will only dilute our share only. No point taking DRP!!
Pls correct me if I am wrong

thanks for comment. So, the bank could not get back its money borrowed? It seems weird rite if a big bank does not have any way to solve this bad debt?
2016-08-03 09:47 | Report Abuse
in fact, if a company (e.g. swiber) winding-up, why bank has to declare impairment? In fact what is impairment? How bank deals with this situation of winding-up? It is quite ridiculous once winding-up, they no need to pay back rite? The bank is not stupid what...
can anyone pls clarify?

Stock: [PBBANK]: PUBLIC BANK BHD

Up_down PBBank remains overvalued which is traded at PER 10.8x or DY 4.76% whilst Singapore banks traded at PER 8x or DY between 5.8% to 6.3%.
Just wondering can we compare PERs between Malaysia and Singapore banks?
