Ho Hup just announced a net profit of rm12.399M for its 1stQ result 2017.This translates to an EPS of 3.31cts or an annualised eps of 13.24 cts.
Based on 13.24 cts, PE is at 6.80 which is still considered reasonally good.
If you have studied the report, construction profits improved marginally while its property development profits dropped due to completion of project at Parcel A in Bukit Jalil.
On a good note, Ho Hup will be launching 2 major property projects in this year,
1)Parcel D at Bukit Jalil with GDV of rm500M
2)Mixed develooment in KK Sabah with GDV of 800M.
With its share of profit from JV with Malton at Bukit Jalil, I would expect its earnings ti improve.

Talam still owns hugh landbanks in klang Valley and these lands have appreciated many times.Investors may not have notice most of their landbanks have not been revalued in its book.
At the present price of 4.5 cts to 5 cts, its share is really cheap and it can't go down further.Recently the largest shareholder Chan has bought back a sustantial block of share at around 8cts.
Think about it.The shares are undervalued at this price.

Shin Yang is a Sarawak counter and is controlled by one of the richest families in Sarawak.Though the shipping industry is not doing well in the last few years the company has been able to make some profits.
Some investors will invest in Shin Yang counter because it is selling cheap at 31cts against its NTA of rm1.
Also the family is very diversified in other businesses like construction, palm oil, timber, retail supermarkets etc. and so you sure of the support of the largest shareholder.

JkG land is a good company making profits all these years and the main reason why they raise funds through rightsissue(cheaper than bank loans) is to fund their upcoming hugh ERA project at Segambut with a total gross development value of rm2.2 billion..First phase of the project is selling well at 50 % take up rate...So if you are thinking of investing in their ERA properties , another alternative is to invest in their shares for long term..
Latest financial figures show a reduced profit due to high financial administrative cost contributed by its ERA project...but it is investing for a good project which will bring in substantial profit to the company in the coming next few years.
If you have studied the abridged prospectus, the right issue is worth investing at 10cts per share when compared to its NTA of 20cts after the whole exercise.
Good day

Able jewel is a piece of freehold vacant development land in Mont Kiara situated at Jalan Kiara 3 measuring 130,000 sq ft (3 acres). It was purchased in 2012 for a sum of RM27Million.Based on comparative method(similar vacant freehold land in Segambut was transacted in 2014 for rm330 per as ft) the market value of its Mont Kiara land should be worth at least RM43million.Presently Able is doing the groundwork for launching of the condominium project and also applying for increasing its density. The project should be a success based on the experienced of its M.D. Dato Allan Lim who is also the controlling shareholder.Dato Allan is previously one of the boss of ex-Sunrise group together with Dato Tong kooi Ong ,both of whom are well known for the development of Mont Kiara.Sunrise was bought over by UEM Land in 2010.
Able has a small capital base of RM39Million(par value per share is 15cts) with NAT per share of 18cts and small borrowings.
In my opinion It is a good share to invest for long term at the present price of 9 cts per share.
