Call warrant is a paper stock derivative created by the Quant team of ib. It has nothing to do with the biz or finance of the underlining stock.
ib uses call warrant to SHORT the stock to the great public.

The settlement is done basing on the last day price of the stock i.e. the day b4 expiry date. n by calculation the last warrant holders will be paid only if the call warrant is in the money.

A fast rising stock like gloves, ib might be forced to trade the mother stocks for a gain. Their Quant team is supposedly to be in the know but certainly failed badly in glove stocks.
Likely for TOPGLOV case, ib RHB could buy the mother stock since TG is flying now. On last 5 mkt days b4 expiry date, depending on the mkt, it might sell down the mother stock in the last hour of these 2nd sessions to capture an av lower price of the stock. By this way it's hoping to lose less.
NB:
SHORT, max profit is 100% only
LONG, like super bull GLOVES r proven multiple folds up, SPM is the best thus far, better than world mighty TESLA.
