This seems applicable to the stock mkt.

U dare to buy low. This buying low is high Risk ? It can go down much lower n U could end up helpless to react.
It happens to my last mohigan Scomi where I 'fished' to get in n see it weakening with no known cut loss price. No so clever or Stupid to 'fish' then !

RSI, MACD, SAR r powerful n easy to read. Darvas box is great.
n lots of guts feeling n more importantly daring to take risk to shout loud Free calls on buy n sell pts to the public.

Have a good n deep feeling for prices in the above case study in
Zone 1. at $30 to 35 = struggling n tricky n
Zone 2. > $35/36 = will fly exponentially to $60.

Every aeroplane needs a good qualified pilot to fly high.
Likewise every stock needs a stock operator - the Smart Money to 'goreng' up to the blue sky !

Without pilot n stock operator, planes n stocks will stay grounded perpetually.

Strategically we will wait at $35/36. On that special moment with the final price action confirmation, we must take Risk to decisively load up big n furious on that stock.
Always be mindful to protect the downside, while we target our high speed profit towards $60 on next news flow...

Good to spend time to build up skill n talent this way. It's much easier n more concrete than all the complicated ever changing FA #s.

The mkt trend in the last 3 years shall dictate what will happen moving forward. We r having 2 to 3 cycles a year so far. There r only 12 months a year. Assuming the up n down cycle is about symmetrical in time frame then we can easily divide the 12 months into the up n down times.

Big money is made in a pureBull cycle. Many cannot even make money in purebull, how to make in purebear then !

My remisier friend said, when mkt is purebull, remisiers r busy doing biz n making commission income. When mkt goes into purebear, their clients positions r stuck so remisiers r free n they will play the mkt in purebear n lose most of their hard earned money.

Recently KLCI turned bullish since Nov 28th, 2012, all or most stocks followed. Many ppl started to shout bullish for stocks like, knm, kfima, padina n more.
As a matter of fact, it is not so easy for stocks to turn bullish. Genting for an ex. took 3 months going through wild swings n its journey back to bull zone is rough n torturous. It is still on bull test !
I will term the 1st stage of bullishness as a Spike or Spurt or Strength. This is true esp when the general mkt tone is bullish.
When this happens I will suggest guessing the highest price on spike or strength. Capture it n execute a sell at best. n Best not to go in to help others get out of the mkt !
My client once said this, Stocks behave like human. Before dying it will 'kick' 3 times. Once it is at dead end it will add 3 years.
No offence but it is real.

Buying low is catching a falling sword. Without cut loss mechanism, buying low can be very high Risk.
It seems so nice n easy to buy low. But many can go much lower n remain lower for a long to infinity time.

We r in an endless 'financial war'. At times we need to retreat n let our 'financial soldiers' have holiday in the bank.

These words I remember since some 20 years ago from a top CEO of Corporate Singapore said, " In good times prepare for bad times n In bad times prepare for good times "
He went on to say every individual stock investor/trader has to experience at least a complete 12 years cycle.
If one learns well in this 12 years period, one can expect to excel for the next maximum of 2-3 cycles of 12 years each.

It is so easy to go down now. Any further slight bad news, mkt will sure panic leading to plunges.

Many years ago, I won mandates to help advise PLC owners on how to create better stock values.
I understand the entire ecm model well. I did advise on right mkt timing to go into mkt operation n how best to spin n churn with optimum risk n capital.
Doing road shows n working closely with analysts n medias to finally cut deals in block placements to funds...

We r all friends here though we have diverse opinions n ideas.
Sometimes somebody comes up with harsh n belittling remarks. This could be due to the nature of our jobs as traders. n u want to let go some pressure.

Buying stocks at any 1 time is risky.
After shouting at 505, the price stayed 505 for quite a long while. In fact a few '000 was done at 504.

U should always dare to take your 1 risk at the shouting price or better if u can catch it even lower. That's good challenge to me. After it moved higher, your that 1 risk becomes more risky ! That famous long sentence on greed n fear will come into play after days of uptrending...

It has to go to Std 6. If it passes then it will be promoted to Secondary school, like our children.
