C'mon la. No need to try and sound smart. Nothing wrong with admitting we followed others in using the drug and now that others are recommending not to use, we are stopping as well.

Brilliant idea. Only 13 weeks too late
So what have you been during that time? Thinking of yourself?
And how long did it take you to work out that RM 500 per month was adequate for the survival of a family of two adults and four teenage boys?

Moodeen has to pay top dollars to buy every crony and soon he will run out of money. Najib stole billions but could not hold on to power.
No more free food in VIP lounges Slipperboy. Goodbye Vignes.
Moodeen moved quickly to consolidate power by appointing cronies. DrM slept on the job left vancanies unfilled.

These old recycled guards who had ruined Malaysia should retire but don't want to as they thirst for power, money and privileges. The whole bunch of them in PN and some in PH.

If the "yellows" are playing favourites, you have to show a very, very clear majority.
In excess of 120. At a bare minimum.
ANWAR CANNOT DELIVER THAT.
68 MPs want Mahathir, 39 want Anwar.
Why is this so hard to get? Go with the majority, Anwar.
PH will be decimated in a snap poll.
And Sabah will fall to Musa Aman eventually if Shafie is expected to cling on for 3 years. He cannot fight against money and pressure for that long.
Bang go 10 MPs.
Anwar is fooling around when the house is on fire.

Is that really that important? Whats the point of having a PM that can’t keep it together only for everything to be undone. I’m not a fan of both of them. But it seems most people that complained of PH’s performance can’t seem to make the connection that every decision was made by Mahathir (good and bad). So why demand for him again? I can’t understand the logic. And besides, if his supporters claim that he won the election, surely he bears the same blame for the dwindling support from his people. And who were his people? Muhyiddin and Azmin? Can you really call them loyal supporters? Look, if PH can’t hold true to the promise of transition, they’re not going to survive another election. And it is already too late for that.

I don’t get why everyone that wants Mahathir again says Anwar is power crazy. Does the same logic not apply to Mahathir? How bias can you be. The difference is Mahathir says it, rubs it in our faces, craves it, and yet says ‘it is a means to an end’ but wants it more than ever. Even willing to risk Malaysia’s future, AGAIN.

How long do you imagine your journey to be?
In ten minutes I could make a list of criteria that if adopted as a party platform would wash every existing party into oblivion
Why can’t you do that?

The window of opportunity closes in 24 hours.
Come tomorrow, there will be still be a stalemate, the rakyat will roll their eyes and give up on these hopeless clowns, and BN will settle in for the next 60 years.
Of course BN will be extremely corrupt.
But Italian dictator Benito Mussolini "made the trains run on time".
You get the point.
The middle ground working class just want a government that isn't a disorganised, noisy sideshow every single day, and that can get at least some things done, leakages and all.
Even the Bugis pirate improved Klang Valley transportation, though I'm sure his cronies made plenty of $$$$$$$$$ on the way.
Oh yes, BN-PN-MN-XYZ-N will survive, all right
Bit more BR1M, bit less noise, and they have cleared the very low bar set by PH.

PSM must prepare a working paper in the model of Home Owners’ Loan Corporation (HOLC) managed by the community cooperatives that should be financially supported by the government relief program to acquire those primary-single-house-owners who are facing defaults due to Covid19. Under this model, buyback the distressed mortgages and then worked to refinance those mortgages by lowering monthly payments based on the current national income or adding more years to make affordable monthly payments to the level of current rental value. If the occupants still can’t pay the reduced rental, the HOLC take over the property at the current market rate, fix it up, and rented it out until another person buy it. Such an arrangement would avoid fire-sales during the downturn and using the public wealth to cover the banks’ losses as in the previous recessions. It is better to cover the primary-single-house-owners with federal funds than covering the banks’ losses.
Such a program will avoid the abandoned houses in our neighborhoods.

Mr Simpleton. .if we can arrive at a nonsensical unrealistic figure for the poor ...all those figures you quote would be taken with a large pinch of salt...unemployment rising from 3.2 to 3.5 percent is already a laughable figure...

In South Africa, there was Apartheid. In our country, in certain aspects, ours may not be that different. One cannot discuss, let alone debate, some of those special rights. Ours have even added a religious flavour to race.

Institutional racism has been politically hijacked and used to racially segregate people in order to win votes. I would have thought that a govt should undertake measures to support poor folks, irregardless of race, period.

There are numerous options.
Middle East?
European Union?
Turkey? Then Erdogan can use them as a bargaining chip against the EU
California? where the democrats love illegal immigrants or asylees as they call them. Or any of the “Sanctuary Cities” of the USA?
UK? The HQ of Amnesty International
New York? The HQ of Human Rights Watch
Maybe the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation can fund a territory, buy an island, for them?

The signal is unmistakable. The black days for justice and the rule of law under the Umno era have returned with a vengeance.
First, the discharge of riza Aziz, now the acquittal of former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman. Next, who? Your guess is as good as mine.
Needless to say, top guns of Umno on trials involving the theft of billions of public funds are now elated, queuing up expectantly for their turn of the good news.
I hope it has now dawned on all Malaysians that Malaysia can’t go on such rampage of rule of law without suffering a total loss of public confidence on the Malaysian polity, which will in turn bring catastrophic consequences to our economy.
It has become even more urgent that Pakatan Harapan must now double its effort to secure a regime change soonest.

Only 5 months into 2020 and it feels like 2047 already, a glimpse into the future, without the fun.
People supporting the security law in HK are utopians who still believe it will only be used for extreme causes as is the case in other countries. They are either being very naive or are really ignorant of how things work in China.
People calling to US help for salvation are also ignorant utopians, the US could not care less about Hong Kong, they just see it as another bargaining chip in their power fight.

FancyMe, the person is a Sarawakian flying from Semenanjung, technically immigration only needs to see her IC. They can’t be asking everyone for passport as flying to and from Semenanjung doesn’t requires a person to hold their passport with them. They gotta come up with a different policy to avoid this from happening again.
