What is nik aziz trying to tell us? Have u been to Kelantan? Have u seen the roads there? Every HARI RAYA, traffic jams are horrendous.. Takes 2 hrs to commute a 10km-journey. Just wondering what are the leaders doing? Have u seen the kampungs? Poor water supply. Water supply doesn't reach to all the rakyat. Lots of the rural folks living on well water...air perigi lor. Mind u, this is 2013, 56 yrs after independence...yet can't provide kelantan with basic water supply.

Hello elena n bingo, n the gang,
Najib entered politics n became MP long after his Tun Razak passed away. Meawhile, Muklis entered politics n became MP after Tun Mahathir stepped down as PM. But not in the case of Lim Kit Siang/Lim Guan Eng, Karpal Singh/n son, n Anwar Ibrahim/Nurul. The last three pairs are currently n concurrently MPs. If Pakatan captures Putrajaya, what positions will they be assigned? Mind u, they are controlling the trump card in Pakatan. Wouldn't this looks awful in Malaysian politics? All will get prominent n important positions I presume. Will be printed in the World Guinness Book of Records.

THE CHOICE
Business Sentiment Scores Top Marks in Consecutive Quarters .
Friday, 22 March 2013 Newsdesk
In a glowing report that highlights Malaysia's growing spending power, the latest Thomson Reuters/INSEAD Asia Business Sentiment Survey has revealed a second consecutive score of 100, topping the table in the region.
According to Reuters, anything over 50 indicates a positive outlook, so for Malaysia to have achieved a score of 100 twice in a row is impressive indeed.
"I think the good news so far this year is just kind of consistency. We have continued to see modest upgrades to GDP forecasts for Malaysia, Philippines and to some extent, Indonesia," said Gary Dugan, chief investment officer for Asia and the Middle East at private bank Coutts.
"People continue to enjoy the same old thing, which is growth that surprises forecasts, companies therefore delivering good earnings numbers which beat expectations."
Coming just a day after the UK growth forecast was halved and as more threats of destabilisation hit the Eurozone, the report describes sentiment in South-East Asia's US$1.5 trillion economy as mostly optimistic.
It puts this down to Government-driven investment in infrastructure and robust domestic spending – something that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak highlighted in his 'report card' speech this week.
Across the region, global economic uncertainty ranks as the chief business risk – something that is having a negative effect on business in China, Japan and South Korea. As export-driven economies, the goings-on in Europe and further afield are leaving investors nervous.
While Malaysia owes a lot to its strong and resilient export market, it has clearly achieved the right balance with domestic growth.
"Domestic consumption across most Asean countries has been very robust and I think that's the key reason why the domestic businesses are confident," said Hozefa Topiwalla, Asean equity strategist at Morgan Stanley.

Penang sees a 73% drop in investments
GEORGE TOWN: Penang fell to sixth position with a drop of 73% in total investments last year compared to 2011, state Barisan Nasional committee member Ong Thean Lye said.
Quoting information from Mida, he said that Penang suffered “a drastic drop” in total investments from RM9.11bil in 2011 to only RM2.47bil last year.
The state came in first in 2010, with investments that amounted to RM12.24bil.
“While Malaysia suffered a 27% drop in total investments from RM56bil in 2011 to RM41bil last year, total investments in Penang dropped by 73%,” Ong told a press conference here yesterday.
He added that not only did the total investments drop, the number of jobs had also declined.
“The employment opportunity dropped from 21,618 in 2010 to 14,293 a year later, then to 10,359 last year.
“The decline in investments and job opportunities are a big concern, and we do not see any industrial blueprint from the state government,” Ong said.
Batu Uban Barisan coordinator Goh Kheng Sneah said trade and investment delegations from the state concentrated on Taiwan, South Korea and China when the major foreign investors in Penang were from the United States.
“(South) Korea only invested RM1.82mil in 2010 and did not invest in 2011 and 2012.
“Taiwan's investment dropped from RM148.4mil in 2011 to RM34.3mil last year.
“China only invested RM4.93mil last year,” Goh added.
State government representatives were not available for comment on the drop in investments.

Can't agree more. They whack anything under the sun, just to show their anger and frustrations. They go every corner of the country just to convey their frustrations. No matter what, even in this investment forum, they control this thread to convey their political message. As though they con't find a suitable site/blog to release their tension. They talk politics here, so do I. So emotional are they, n wanna lead the country? I bimbang the whole nation would go haywire n astray after they take over Putrajaya.
