Good morning guys, It is actually very sad to read and realize that some of our fellow Malaysians are living under such disadvantaged circumstances.
May I humbly suggest our beloved teachers, while you are doing your best to conduct online classes, do remember that some of your beloved students might be struggling to understand or access the teaching materials.
So, when classes are resumed back to normal face to face teaching, can our dear teachers, without charging any extra tuition fees, voluntarily giving free tuition classes to this group of disadvantaged students.
I am sure your kindness will be rewarded in the future, because these disadvantaged students will forever remember you and they will take great care of you for your entire life.

Really Under your ministry? The semburit of sheraton has been making statements that obviously you should be making. Even in the backdoor gomen there is a hierarchy to follow. You seems fall into tier 3 i.e tak boleh pakai and tak tahu ! On top of betrayal to the rakyat ..you lot are incompetent bumbling idiots !...Put that as a criteria in your main belakang manifesto !

Guys or should i say excuse me, backdoor Minister. I hope that you are happy with your reward from TSMY. Have you ever heard of the internet and application online? Are you the only fellow in Putrajaya who have not heard about the digital economy and doing things through the IoT? If not come to ARBB! aiyo

Hi everyone!
That was refreshingly incisive Manjit Bhatia
But when we have to praise scheming Malay politicians only for their supreme sacrifice of staying away from the limelight (and the virus) and allowing good sense to prevail, we know what a low ebb we have reached.
And yet we've had at least one retired ambassador making a clarion call to the masses to support "the current government, whatever its faults," because it " is focused on the elephant in the room."
While he didn't bother to list what its faults are except to acknowledge them by omission, he made much of its focus on the elephant - which is akin to praising a fireman for training his fire hose on the flames or a teacher for getting into the classroom or an MP for attending parliament.
But enough about brown nosing. The warning you put out about the potential resumption of crookedness-run-amok when the virus diminishes in its virulence is a valid one.
Just as social distancing merely pauses or slows down the spread, Covid 19 offers Malaysians a respite from the impending onslaught of bigotry in all its shades from a Malay-only government led by a Malay-first PM who was terribly discomfited by the multi-ethnic composition of the coalition he subverted.

Well! Well! Well! what to be expected from this lot? You suddenly expect them to install integrity and accountability in the Govt? No way, back to the old, old ways and each to be given a cushy job and a gold mine for each to tip their hands in. That is their mentality and will continue to be so. Sad indeed! Also, time for each to grab what they could till the next election, I guess?

It was Tun who started the broken system to keep all the power in his hand forgetting that he is human so he has to meet his Maker one day. He squandered his time as PM for the second time in not fixing it but continuing to play divisive politics to keep himself and others in power but this time being outplayed by his more brilliant students. Honestly from his first time as PM in 1984 he introduced many destructive policies which have divided our people. Now it is too late to mend them. We can only live with a false hope that our country continues to be resilient and strong enough to recover from the pandemic Covid-19 outbreak.

Yes guys, CNN also reports that masks are good. That is by some other expert. Best advice would be to wear a mask.....
2020-04-07 16:15 | Report Abuse
Even at 10% effective, if used globally, it would have prevented 100,000 of the 1 million global cases from contracting it !

The Czech Republic has the lowest Covid-19 cases in Europe. Why? The citizens took to wear masks, home made masks too, all the time.

Saying the most common point of infection is through your eyes, nose and mouth:
Face mask covers 2 out of 3. So technically, you're 66% safer than not wearing a face mask.
Plus don't forget, people whether they realize it or not, people tend to consciously or unconsciously touch their face especially their rubbing their eyes, nose and mouth. If not mistaken, the best way to prevent infection now is by washing your hands for 20 secs or use alcohol hand sanitizers. Face mask prevents you from "accidentally" touching your mouth and nose without first sanitizing or washing your hands. So, another 2 out of 3.
Another point, a more important point, it takes a few days before a person shows symptoms. From the date of actual infection to the date where the symptoms first appear, how many unnecessary people will get infected?
So bottom line, it's better to be safe than sorry. So people, wear your mask!
Just my 2 cents.

Hi happy investors of Arbb! Face mask protects the others, not the wearer. The wearer, no matter what must keep social distancing and observe hand hygiene if he/she wants to be safe. This is common sense.

Always appreciate anyone who can stick out their neck and voice their recommendation/opinions with justifications no matter how smart/silly it may sound like to myself or to another.
Investment seems to be a guessing game of the future using present & historical information against others who are doing the same.
Its about your competitive edge
No one can claim he has exclusive knowledge/skills against the others for certain and for permanently.
however, having said that,
somehow its apparent that nature/business/investor/human behavior has a pattern that repeats or 'rhymes', which gives us optimism on the predictability of future
we can see this on how a good management continues to make good business decisions...and good profitable business continues to make more profit (ARBB, AGESON)...and a good investor continues to make good investment decisions!
As for us, all we can do is keep refining our-self to detect this pattern accurately which has multitude of variables affecting it.....knowing nothing is set in stone
Cheers and Happy shopping spree guys!

Agreed with Wellington Sky, mass screening is waste of valuable/limited resources because a negative test result today did not prevent you from infected by others tomorrow. The best is assume we are all infected and wear mask, social distancing and washing hands to prevent us from spreading the virus to others.

White House, Congress Weigh Next Stimulus With Virus Spreading
~ Officials consider aid for mortgage markets, travel industry
~ Pelosi says states and local governments will need more help
The White House and congressional Democrats are preparing for a fourth round of economic stimulus to get the U.S. through its coronavirus outbreak, even while they’re still arguing over the $2 trillion measure President Donald Trump signed Friday.
White House officials have compiled lists of requests from government agencies totaling roughly $600 billion, according to people familiar with the matter. The proposals include more state aid as well as financial assistance for mortage markets and the travel industries.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters on Monday that Democrats are “collecting information, taking inventory” on what might be needed in another round of stimulus. She also indicated states and local governments need more federal assistance, and said there could be further direct payments to everyday Americans.
And in an interview with the New York Times published on Monday, she indicated that another possible move was getting rid of the limit on state and local tax deductions, or SALT, that was part of the 2017 tax overhaul and affects California, Pelosi’s home state, and New York.
But a spokesman for Chuck Grassley, an Iowa Republican and chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, dismissed the idea as “a nonstarter.”
“Millionaires don’t need a new tax break as the federal government spends trillions of dollars to fight a pandemic.” said the spokesman, Michael Zona.
The U.S. outbreak isn’t expected to peak for another two weeks, according to projections by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, and the president has urged Americans to continue “social distancing” practices that have devastated the economy until May.
Trump said early Monday that he’s considering hazard pay for health care professionals in a subsequent bill. He said Sunday that he’s assigned the Treasury and Labor secretaries to work on restoring a tax break for corporate restaurant spending that was repealed as part of his 2017 tax overhaul. Such a change stands to benefit the president’s company, the Trump Organization, which rents space to restaurants at many of its resort properties.
Many of the priorities Pelosi outlined for a fourth round on Monday were part of an alternative stimulus bill House Democrats proposed last week, but were rejected by Senate leaders in negotiations with Trump’s administration.

There’s bipartisan momentum building for another stimulus measure in Congress. Senator Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican, said Monday on Bloomberg Television that “if the crisis continues for substantially longer I have no doubt that the Congress will have to act again.”
