If i am not wrong Sime yield/ha/annum is 20mt unlike their counter part like UP/Klk/IOI is 23-25mt. The differecne of say 3mt, d loss in revenue is like (500,000 hectares x 3mt x RM300 current price of fruit = RM150,000,000). If this is paid out as dividend share price will shoot to RM30 like UP. We r hearing of like 1MDB, i think got many MDBs'....very sad Malaysian!

For every 1mt of fruit x 600,000 hectares (felda planted hecterage) x RM300 ( price of fruit) = 180,000,000 hence (23-20mt =3mt) x 3 = 540,000,000 loss. Is felda in business, please ask this vital question, print this n take to d meeting.

- We expect margins to improve further as its KVMRT1 jobs (which yield lower margin) were completed in Feb. For the 9M period, the gross profit margin for propertyrelated jobs was 19% vs. 5% for infrastructure jobs.

- At its recent analyst briefing, management assured of prospects remaining bright with a tender book of ~RM1bil. It is also in good position to secure piling jobs for the upcoming KVMRT2 project.

- It has also invested RM28.9mil in capex for new machineries this year in anticipation of new job wins.

- We continue to like Econpile for its strong execution and good track record amid rising jobs flow. It is now trading at 12x FY15F PE. Maintain BUY.

The government has collected almost RM1.7 billion from Goods and Services Tax (GST) on taxable imports up till May 10.

"The amount of tax collected from imports from April 1 to May 10 is RM1.689 billion.

"This data was known early because payments were made before imported goods were released by Customs at ports, borders or at the airports," Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan (photo) told the Dewan Rakyat today.

The government however does not yet have the figures for GST collected on domestic spending.

This is because businesses earning more than RM5 million a year will only be submitting their GST returns this month, while those earning less than RM5 million per annum will be submitting once every three months, with the first filing due by July 31.

PETALING JAYA: Shipping company Hubline Bhd will discontinue its container shipping operations and exit the industry by the end of the financial year ending Sept 30, 2015, a move which will see it become a Practice Note 17 company.

The successful execution of its exit from the business is estimated to see the group take a one off hit of RM350 million to its income statement for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2015.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Hubline said the container shipping division contributes some 79% to revenue and is deemed a major portion of the group's overall shipping business.

"(The move to exit the container shipping industry will push the group into PN17 status) despite the fact that the container shipping division is also the 'major' contributor to the groups cost of operations.
