there are many professional analyst there tell us that this case is still under review, and appointing EY as indepenent reviewer is good progress

but many naysayers here keep on insisting that there is already strong evidence to show that Karim is guilty. if there is really strong evidence already, why still need to review this case. KPMG themselves also never say their finding is conclusive, they only say there are irregularities, which they themselves still not sure what is wrong

@tomtom all tech companies, you are buying future price that is not yet promised, all is way above NTA, I know that is normal for tech counters, but let's hope that there is no audit or other scandal like serba happen to any of these companies, because the effect can be much worse because there will be no net asset there to support the price

just saying here to you since you mentioned, you won't see me go to those counters' forum to say my opinions there, I am not that bad to try to bring down other's companies that I am not related or interested

@Eddiechai3 so many other companies have better result la this month's QR - MBMR, CHOOBEE, MMCCORP, CANONE, TOMEI, POHKONG, just to name a few

karim's company result can't even live up to it's price before the crash imo as a fundamental investor, I won't even look into this company if not there is huge surprise discount now

CHOOBEE cash rich, cash balance more than total liabilities, good EPS / low PE, 50% NTA discount

MBMR cash rich, high EPS + high DY, below NTA, good prospect, many analyst give high TP

I tell you all honestly how I think. For those of you that is still holding,

All the price drop now is paper loss, until the conclusion is out, if the conclusion is not favourable, we may lose ALL, but if the conclusion is favourable, then not only we will get back all we loss until now, we might also earn double or more (depends on our respective entry price, for those enter before crash)

You need to consider cut loss now, if you cannot afford to lose all, especially those with borrowed money.

But as for myself, I wait for the result, but will not average down in between, honestly this is only my minor side bet here with the profit from my other counter investment, I usually only interested in fundamental stocks.

A patient can always get a 2nd opinon on other doctors. True, and the most important part it the 2nd doctor won't and don't need to take the first doctor opinion as reference, the outcome can either be same or not, as long as it is the 2nd doctor genuine finding all by himself.

That is how you do job if you are someone professional that capable to find own answer without any reference

@joyvest we are not expert, we don't think what EY will conclude, but good that you mentioned that KPMG only cast doubts, so nothing is conclusive up to this point.

EY is appointed to do independent review, just review and report the outcome la, if the fruit is found to be rotten say rotton, if fresh then say fresh, why make it so complicated.

No need refer to KPMG's answer, EY is caliber enough to find their own answer.

Don't assume you know the asnwer is as you are not on EY caliber
