Those who believe sky is a limit and trees grow in the sky will still jump in to this SIG pool. No point join a game which you know the final results wont favour you. It has been an open secret and it caused so many believers. The timing is so right. It is speculated that the suitor could be Linde, Praxair, Air Liquide, Messers or even Iwatani! Riding the wave of worldwide gas industry consolidation, e.g. Air Liquide with Airgas in USA and the hostile take-over in China for its largest gas player Yangde etc. Also, remember that the news broke out on the AGM date from the Star newspaper or The Edge that SIGGAS is a potential candidate for take-over.

I only have this to say, this stock is heavily controlled by certain quarters. If you had made money from this counter, be appreciate. If you are thinking of speculate more money from this counter at current price level, let me remind you that it only traded at RM0.50 in the beginning of the year.

3rd Q results will be out by 27 November and by then an interim dividend can be expected.

Why bother about price if you've bought into something which you believe will shine in the future.

MOX was trading at RM10 to RM12 range before privatisation. RM12 was the insider move before the privatisation was announced. Eventual offer price is RM17. 40% up.

A lot of forum participants must be wondering, after the news broke up in March that worldwide industrial gas industry is undergoing a consolidation mode. And the rumors was saying that SIGGAS will be the likely candidate affected by this wave. Now fast forward in July, the share price of SIGGAS has moved up from 50+ sen to the highest of RM1.06 and now consolidating at 90+ sen above, how tangible is such rumors? I cannot answer, but I wish to share what I experienced in MOX, about 10 years ago...

10 years ago, MOX share price is trading with price range within 10% up and down but in general, an uptrend, in conjunction with the revenue expansion. The privatization rumor of MOX was also raging fiercely that time because 10 years ago also saw the worldwide industrial gases suppliers undergoing consolidation mode (e.g. current big 4 industrial gases were born out at that time, previously got 9 players).

Finally the privatization offer come at RM17.00 for MOX.

As mentioned previously and confirmed by The Star yesterday, once RAPID project is secured by Linde, anything is possible. As for what price, your guess is as good as my guess. Given the unstoppable trend of share price, i think it is not too far off to say the price can stay above RM1 easily.

It is because the final dividend requires shareholders' approval at the AGM, hence the 2 months' wait. At the same day, they will announce their quarterly results as well. It the top line can maintain the momentum last 4Q16, there's a very good chance for the Company's share price to propel higher. Let's see.

I think not many aware that until today the press wire machines used by Tongher is zero value but fully functionable.

Personally I wish them not to develop the hospital and concentrate the business of automotive. Sell the land near SP Setia Conventional Centre and SP Setia mall for handsome profit and use the proceeds to develop the biz of automotive, i.e. Bluetooth technology, LED signal lights, reverse camera etc.

If change of shareholder happen to Proton, will there still use MCE products? Vice versa, will the new shareholder give MCE more jobs to do and benefit MCE in the long run? Very hard to say.

The retained earnings as at 31 Dec 2016 was RM224 mil with share premium account of another RM28 mil. After deducting dividend of RM31 mil, there are still RM221 mil left. Still more than enough to pay a 1 for 3 bonus issue, leaving retained earnings of about RM168 mil.
