If US, UK & europe are still main markets ie top 30-40% profit margin contributors for harta…….I think chances are these rich govts may want to make sure there’s no sudden acute shortages of medical gloves, masks, ventilators, PPE & other necessary medical equipments or medications for next rounds of possible pandemics.

The recent actions by US, Canada govts showed why they gave fairly ‘ fast response’ regarding overseas gloves companies for ESG issues… Is it really ESG issues or just plain competition to protect their own country’s manufacturers? Is is difficult to start glove manufacturing business or not?

I think there are very good & well-educated Malay politicians. Since everyone is entitled to one vote, what we were taught at school about leadership, meritocracy are all Wrong.

Bcos democracy is about MAJORITY votes. If majority people are lesser educated properly & can get brain-washed easily, the good quality Malays would hve little or almost zero chance to win votes… only my personal views ya, no offence meant.

Prices getting volatile at Bursa until next election, in my personal view. I am just holding some recovery stocks in SGX n already invested abit in genting since last year. Still interested to buy gloves but need more clarity…

Only Supermax is now facing USA’s Import Ban (until further notice from US CBP) & Canada decided to pause/stop imports from supermax (pending results of investigations).

TG, Harta & Kossan hve no import bans from either US or Canada at this moment.

FYE means financial year end …. Audit in my previous experience means refer to all past records, past transactions, past bank account statements … only for the period under audit.

Hence, FYE 31Dec20 means audit is done for only up to 31Dec20. That is why when we borrow money from banks for our companies, banks always say they want ‘latest management acconts’ also bcos audited accounts referred to past results & financial positions in both Balance Sheet & Profit/Loss statements.
