Currently, what they can get at most out of this path is hotel deals like gojek and tiket.com to book hotels. As of now, i have yet to see any superapp that has airline deals alongside food deliveries, microloans, ans hotels. Even if it's successful, it's not permanent. AirAsia got kicked out of traveloka platform not long ago.

Food panda, gojek, and grab have to give a proportion of their equity just to get funding, thereby diluting shareholder returns. AirAsia is the only airline company that is offering a super app. I dont see gojek, food panda or grab offering airline services. Even if they do, they have to form a partnership with some airlines, which would lead to some conflict of interest during the negotiation process. I think AirAsia already has the infrastructure to make a super app ...together with its fleet of planes( logistics and travel), hotels(tune hotel) or partnership with other hotels, food delivery, and micro loan services, AA can dominate the super app market in Malaysia or perhaps the SEA region.
