All stocks are red, don't overthink and think it's just gloves. Whole market is cautious cause that they we experienced a bad crash in all industries. Hold tight, gloves have not peaked yet. Follow logic, not fear and emotion.

Averaging down means, let's say you buy 1000 shares of Stock A for rm1. So now your average buying price is rm1. Means if the price goes up or down from there, you know profit/loss.

Suddenly, the stock price fall to rm0.50. You are confirm loss and down, the share must recover to RM1 for you to break even or make profit. But what if you buy another 1000 shares for rm0.50? Suddenly your average price becomes rm0.75. So now for you to break even or hit profit, the price just needs to go up 25 cents vs having to go up 50 cents.

You can calculate your average by taking total amount spend/number of shares. So if you bought again at rm0.50, it becomes rm1000(First share purchase)+rm500 (Second share purchase)/2000 shares (total shares) = rm0.75

But I'd also like to talk about the luck aspect, what are the chances of the price closing at exactly 888 with thousands of trades happening at once? If we even tried to measure, I'd say it's very unlikely. If one extra order came in for slightly more or less, it would've been a different price.

@newbie_invest I normally use KLSE screener, add all the shares I want to monitor to watch list, then click the News button at the top right. I also monitor these forums, most results will come out and be shared here.

@newbie_invest Always use logic, and constantly be aware of the news. Mass markets are very emotional, and it drops like dominoes, each one think they might go bankrupt. Now most of the money playing is retail investor, like us. Very easily to manipulate. Stay strong, and dollar cost average if it drops.

Let's look at facts:
- Crazy QR results coming in August, can see the analyst report. We are expecting very solid financial results.
- Three analyst house tp rm10+
- Directors bought shares at peak pricing multiple times the past week. One director bought 200k shares at 7.8! One director bought at 7.7!

Let the scare tactics go past your head, let the margin traders exit if they can't play. Look at it logically, where will the big money invest after this? Not the individual like you or me, or the mass market, but where will the institutes,sharks, and big banks want to play. Think like them. They are the real winners here, and with 3 analyst house tp rm10, why would they do that? It would be bad for their reputation in the financial world if they are so wrong. Do you want to follow the sheep?

Use this chance to collect and think logically. Don't be the shaky hands that the fearmongers want you to be. Panic is the same as losing.

Managed to catch at 6.9! Guys, don't look at the downwards as a bad thing. Stick to the fundamentals, three investment houses tp RM10, you guys wanna act like it's the end of the world? Yes the margin cut happened, but that effect is only temporary. Focus on the long term, covid is still strong, investment houses targeting rm10.

Keep your head up everyone, we're at 50cents+ from yesterday closing. Why panic? Don't listen to the words of the short-term players. Do your research, assign your target price, and top up until then. If Supermax QR result was that good during non-peak covid times, imagine the next QR for March - June.
