Flooding in Dec / jan affects the yield of jan , Feb hence the next Q results will is not expected to be better than Dec 20.
But the same cannot be said for the April - Jun quarter ...which could be in the blue again . ., the result of which will only be out in August: sept.. so one has to be patient until then

If the snow don’t melt in time in spring ... then with early winter cold could spell disaster for North America grains and soybean production this year... if that happens ... superbull will drive cpo prices much much higher than the current level of RM4000/ton plus ...,,
With the Covid situation critical in USA ... this situation could happen ... global soybean shortage — prices will continue to rise till next year then .

Soybean new production output lower in South America from excessive rain in Brazil and drought in Argentina.
So all the grains prices at superbull level ... cpo follows .
The next hope for harvest is North America ...record cold now ...planting can only begin in late April / May ... harvest only July / August new stocks coming in ....
Until then ....rally continues

Soybean creeping to all time high .. sustained momentum with lower output of soybeans fm South America . With winter cold and super thick snow in planting belts of soybeans in USA.. this year planting should be delayed again ..,uncertainty of ability to restocking stockpile will drive demand exceeding supply through this year to the next ...
so cpo price follows ...

All the pouring out of bad news on Palm oil is one sided ... so FGV shareholders will accept low prices for them to take it private ..,

Unlikely .., tdm still making profits

So how can cpo go rm967/ton ?
Production costs already about RM2000/ton ..
unless there is a big glut of soybean or palmoil .. neither is happening anytime in the near future and not this foreseeable year .

That supports the cpo prices above the rm3000/ton level until September /October .. by then if situation is bad .. then prices will shoot towards rm4000/ton - RM5000/Ton year end .

They cannot replenish the soybean stockpile until April earliest if South America can get those beans planted in Feb . That is if weather permits ...
The northern hemisphere can only plant when spring comes - April /May .. harvest on Aug/ sept .
With lots of snow this year ... delay snow melts and . flooding across the plains in April /May can delay planting to end May/ jun ... and harvest sept / October .., if early cold winter comes - then lots of crop losses again can happen this year .
So replenishing stockpile remains a challenge

Cpo and soybean uptrend back after realising a bit of rain in South America do not as yet solve the current reducing stockpile of cpo and soybeans .
Stressed markets on edible oil - - lots of countries chasing limited stockpiles ..

He is stuck with pessimism like a kind of ATtachment , while investors look at data earnings and hope for a better tomorrow in sight .

Why post nonsense?
