This year the early cold frost in mid autumn affected the yields of soybeans in the northern countries .... creating a global shortage of soybean oil .
The soybean oil replenish can only be known come September/ October 2020 ...whether success or not still not known now .
Until then cpo prices is expected to increase further going forward towards sep/October 2020 . No shortcut , no monetary easing can address the soybean shortage issue ..
So hang in there ... tdm ...

The long term prospects of tdm is good for the next 1.5 years as no foreseeable new supply of edible oil is coming in . If soybean planting fails again this year ( October 2020 ) , then upwards prices of cpo will then be halted ... abs trend reverse ..., but until then ...it is a long good ride up

With the sheer volume ..., it will have enough momentum to push even on a much higher scale

Rsawit has shown profit in the last quarter report .. tdm still not yet .. so some play safe .. prefer rsawit to tdm . But it will show up profit in due course .., by then the price will not be at this level

The situation that makes palmoil demands increase was a combination of factors including soybean crop failures for the last two planting seasons in the northern hemisphere from the late planting to early snow frost in mid autumn . Situation in 2020 is expected to be worse for soybeans plantings as this year’s winter extreme cold and thick snow will again produce a situation of very wet springs ... late plantings again for sure.

With the tightening Of government control of no new opening of forests for palmoil means for the next 3 years — there will be no significant increase in palmoil production in Malaysia for years to come .. this worries many big consumers countries like China , India and Europe . As palmoil is the alternative to soybean ... and soybean production planting is severely impacted by the unforgiving cold weather .
So palm oil this time round will see many players buying in advance at ever increasing today ‘s prices over the next 12 months .
With each month prices continue to rise with more data on the shortages of soybean coming on board .
