A lot of political factors in play. I agree with the point on the budget. It is a vital factor in ensuring the continuity of the government machinery and allocation for covid-19. Imo, if the budget doesn't pass entirely due to political reasons, we should reconsider the credibility of the current "opposition".

When they say the vaccine will be given out free, it means that the government will bear the cost on behalf of the consumer. The cost borne by the government will be
- cost of acquiring the vaccine (COVAX, SINOPHARM etc..)
- cost of bottling the vaccine (Duo, Pharma)
- cost of distribution (MSCM, etc..)
- medical equipment - i.e. PPE, syringes, needles (also your Pharma companies)

Theoretically, when a vaccine is announced and acquired you can expect an influx in $$$

The top Pharma's in Msia will still be a beneficiary in the Covid-19 vaccine scene. Medical/ Pharmaceutical companies are not like your typical ah-ma, ah-pa company where you can open overnight. Strictly regulated and high barriers to entry.

I bought in when this counter dropped around Rm6.6+ range. Tbh now scared to collect anymore. Had high expectations to reach the sky before the QR announcement, but was left with utter disappointment after that. Will still hold lar, who knows , it might suddenly fly again

Idk la, but possible or not to beat all the IB's and big funds in the market. For all you know, what may be seen as the "retail" fight back might just be your neighborhood friendly banker, riling you up to buy, while they happily take profits.

Malaysian's should push to join COVAX. Once join, duo and pharmaniaga can take off even further than expected. Only downside, we have to share our vaccine supply with the other countries.
