和昨天（4月15日）公布Q1业绩时拒绝给出Q2业绩指引的「芯片之母」AMSL不同，台积电给出了强劲的Q2业绩指引：营收101亿-104亿美元，毛利率50%-52%。此前，业界普遍担心新冠疫情会对半导产业链带来巨大冲击，但从台积电的业绩指引看，情况好像没有想象的那么差。

《Q2即将登场的5nm》

5nm量产是台积电今年的重头戏，按计划Q2将正式量产，业界同时看好台积电5nm和7nm二大主力制程齐发威。

5nm首批客户原定为苹果和海思，但最近据台媒报导，海思减少向台积电5nm投片，不过相关产能被苹果包下。后者还要求台积电今年第四季度追加近1万片产能，与AMD等争夺5nm强化版工艺。苹果正在全力吃进台积电5nm的产能，而这也在为iPhone 12所用的处理器A14做准备。

值得一提的是，目前掌握5nm制程的仅有台积电和三星两家。根据上述报道，台积电5nm工艺目前已量产出货。而三星预计在今年6月底左右完成5nm产线建设，量产时间要等到今年底或明年初。
