LTAT sold, Boustead sold, EPF now selling. I just bought at RM1.85.

OMG! The Jinx has reappeared! There's no more hope for Affin. Price will drift down.

The transaction values Affin Bank at 0.4 times its book value. The price is relatively cheap considering that banking transactions are usually done at a higher valuation of closer to one time book value.

Having said that, Affin Bank’s shares have historically traded at a discount to other financial groups listed on Bursa Malaysia. That is because of its major shareholders, LTAT and Boustead Holdings Bhd, and the close nexus the entities shared with the powers that be in Putrajaya prior to 2018.

@Bursino, they already sold at 0.4x PB earlier lah.

I think it will be around RM2.30 because it's a bigger stake.

Mr Sslee, before you sell please give all of us ikan bilis a 5 minutes headstart.

Last time Sarawak squeezed LTAT for a discounted price of RM1.97 when the then market price was above RM2.00 and shortly later even received dividend of 7.77 sen.

The pricing of the deal may turn out to be a big disappointment just like the initial pricing of the earlier 4.95% transacted.

Sarawak government which presently holds 4.9% hopes to acquire additional 15% stake from LTAT.

If SBagan drops to RM3.50, Kuchai's fair value will be RM1.40 ....... pray SBagan doesn't drop.

If SBagan goes to RM4.50, Kuchai's fair value will be RM1.60 ....... if SBagan goes to RM5, Kuchai's fair value will be RM1.70 ....... if SBagan goes to RM10 ....... aah, can or not?

@Albukhary, yes, you are correct to say that. SBagan is undervalued (and so are most other counters). Kuchai is presently fully valued based on SBagan's current market price.

Now that both Kuchai and SBagan prices have more or less stabilize if we do the Maths every 5 sen upward or downward movement of SBagan shares should move Kuchai shares by 1 sen in similar direction.

The objective is to stir interest and give a reason for both SBagan and Kuchai share prices to rise.

Buy the "right" hand.

I received my dividends in the form of shares at discounted issued price of RM1.73.
