Oh like that kah. Easy to understand leh. Then last Qtr WHY Intangible asset dropped from more than 1 bil to 864mil only. This also mean can contribute to Taikor NTA dropped also kah. Cos it affect Total Asset also leh. Ini macam kah. Betul?

Goodwill always refer to price paid for takeover minus assets value.
ie of roadside nasi lemak stall
say at RM1 million.
Asset only tupperware containers at no book value.
Price paid = RM1 million
Asset = RM0.00
Price - Asset value = Net = Goodwill
Intangible asset is when you paid RM1 million
ie bought the rights to cook nasi lemak chow kit style
with a trade mark like say "Lorong Haji Taib finger lickin nasi lemak" aka "Taib Nasi"
with full recipes and ways to cook with pressure cooker
Intangible = Price paid RM1.0 million for recipe & method of cooking.
