Latest news from Japan: The Covid-19 virus is fast mutating, the new strains attack the youth more vigorously.

The discovery process of vaccines and drugs is obviously slower than the virus.

In nature, this is the survival of the fittest.

The selling across the board in the oriental block this morning is mainly due to the geo-political tension and tussle between the two big powers.

For Bursa trading, it is the same strategy used by those people to instill fear by talking about pending haircut imposed by the IBs and etc. (大户炒家，乐此不疲）

The notorious haircut incident in early June has produced a nightmarish phenomenon casting over the minds and hearts of many investors （目前，这样的热炒大牛市里，惊弓之鸟多得是）

Hence, any rumours of haircut will be a good excuse for profit taking among the investors of glove stocks.

It is also a golden opportunity for those who want to buy the big 4 in anticipating future qtr earnings to maximize gains in their portfolios.

Experts say there is still a long way to go before we know if any of the experimental vaccines will be effective, and longer still before any approved products are distributed around the world to offer a shot at global herd immunity。

There are also many unknowns about the impact of any approved vaccines on the virus and whether they can stop transmission and, ultimately, the pandemic.

“Every attempt to make a vaccine is like a blind trial and error procedure in which you might succeed early in the process and you might not succeed even late in the process,” said David Morens, senior adviser to Dr Anthony Fauci, head of the US National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases.

“We are all hopeful that we will get it right the first time and that within six to 12 months we will have a vaccine and bring it to market. That is possible, but it would take a lot of luck.”

Vaccinologist Jon Andrus, an adjunct professor of global health at George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health in the US, said development of an effective vaccine was not a sure shot.

“It’s dangerous for us to be putting all of our eggs in one basket – that a vaccine will become available and this is going to save the day – and forget to remain focused on what we should be doing this very moment,” he said.

That included widespread testing, case identification and tracing, wearing masks, maintaining hygiene and social distancing, said Andrus, a former deputy director of the Pan American Health Organisation, the WHO’s regional office in the Americas.

Yes, indeed, freetospeak sifu and super yfhew1 sifu have made accurate predictions, and I trust them very much.

Your question posed on the movement of Super after Qtr 4 release next Monday, is spot on.

If Careplus with 400% increase in PAT can induce a 137% spike in its price within 6 trading days, I believe the same momentum will emerge for Super, and 32-34 should be a reasonable TP range (even a rise to 48 is only 100% of the current 24.00, still much less than the 137% of Careplus, so I am more conservative) if Super's PAT is 428 mil, which is a whooping 600% increase. Of course, I hope it can move up in a quantum of at least 60-80%.

NOSH of Super is 1,360 mil, compared to HARTA's 3,427 mil, TG's 2,704 mil, and KOSSAN's 1,278 mil, and if Super's PAT is at par with the up coming TG's September result (TG's last Qtr PAT is 347 mil, HARTA recent Qtr is 219 mil), its share price should be at par if not higher than TG.

The EPS and PE of Super will be very attractive judging from the PAT of Qtr 4/20 and Qtr 1/21.Super is indeed a black horse among the big 4 in terms of its excellent earning power.

I will listen to OTB Sifu's advice, and I am still holding tight with my Super. I am very eager to know the coming Qtr's PAT and the price after the bonus issue in September.

So far, the record shows that yfhew's projection is always very reliable.

If PAT = 426 million, it is 600% increased profit for Supermx.

Carepls made 400% increased profit, the Q2 2020 result was released on 24/7/2020.
The share price of Carepls jumped from 2.46 on 24/7/2020 to the high of 5.83 on 4/8/2020, a jump of 137% in the last 6 trading days.

If PAT is 426 million, 600% increased profit for Supermx.
If the share price Supermx followed Carepls's foot step, the share price of Supermx should jump > 137% in 6 trading days.
Based on this calculation, the share price of Supermx should be 54.32 (I did not say the price of Supermx will go up to 54.32).

@freetospeak and OTB sifu. Yes, your judgement is very accurate. Super and TG's Bonus issues are the hint for explosive QTR results. Super's coming QTR result will be the eye opener.

In terms of share price marathon, the big 4 can definite sustain their profits for many QTR to come, but not the second liners where future competition will be very stiff.

For those who have locked in profits from the upsurge in the second liners, they are the smart ones. It is best to divert the funds to the big 4 (current 2 index-linked and coming soon for the other 2) as their PAT in the future QTRS will grow handsomely.

Now the price has breached 19.62 as mentioned by sifu OTB, we shall see how far it can fly.

Mathematician predicted violent upheaval in 2020 all the way back in 2012.

In 2012, University of Connecticut ecologist, evolutionary biologist and mathematician Peter Turchin made a bold prediction: The United States was on track for a chaotic, violent 2020.

Well, here we are.

The year so far has been full of "upheaval" events, from a pandemic that seems to be further polarizing Americans along party lines, to the police killing of George Floyd and other Black individuals, which have led to Black Lives Matter protests worldwide and riots in some cities.

Turchin wasn't just spitballing when he foresaw trouble in the 2020s. In his 2012 article, published in the Journal of Peace Research, he analyzed political violence, including riots, lynchings and terrorism, in the United States between 1780 and 2010. The UK will be living with coronavirus for many years to come and even a vaccine is unlikely to eliminate it for good, experts are warning.

Wellcome Trust director Prof Sir Jeremy Farrar told the House of Commons' Health Committee "things will not be done by Christmas".

He went on to say humanity would be living with the virus for "decades".

"Things will not be done by Christmas. This infection is not going away, it's now a human endemic infection.

"Even, actually, if we have a vaccine or very good treatments, humanity will still be living with this virus for very many, many years.... decades to come."

Supermx coming QTR results could match TG, also due to ASP increase esply in OBM model, so what is the fair value for Supermx?

Yet no of shares of Supermx is much smaller than TG, even after 1:1 bonus, it is stiill small compare to TG. So EPS for Supermx should be much higher than TG if both their PAT are almost identical.
