Base on the past record, rgb will get the high eps in 3rd qr. Usually b4 qr, Mr Chuah will give hints about upcoming qr n say something to the press. But from October until now, there is no news abt 3rd qr. So I think that q3 might be bad. Even 3rd qr come out with a superb result (which I doubt), it won’t help much to boost up the share price due to bad market sentiment.

The Board of Directors of RGB International Bhd. (“the Company”) wishes to announce that
RGB (Macau) Limited (“RGBML”) was served with a writ of summons (“Writ”) on 17 October
2012 by Comcorp H.L.E Projects Pty. Ltd. (“the Plaintiff”). RGML is a wholly owned
subsidiary of RGB Ltd. which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
The Writ, dated on even date, was issued in Portuguese language which is the official
language in Macau SAR and was also served to 3 other parties. The Plaintiff is claiming
damages for the alleged infringement of copyrights of the Plaintiff’s alleged designs without
its consent or payment by the 3 other parties and/or RGBML.
A notification dated 25 October 2012, in Portuguese language, was served upon the
Company informing that the Plaintiff had filed a petition to include the Company as a
defendant to the said legal suit. The Company’s solicitor in Macau had filed an application,
on 5 November 2012, to strike off the name of the Company as a defendant on the ground,
inter alia, that the Company and RGBML are two separate legal entities.
The English translated version of the Writ was received on 29 January 2013. The Board of
Directors of the Company is of the opinion that there is no legal basis for the Plaintiff’s claims
against RGBML. RGBML has appointed solicitors in Macau to file its defence and
counterclaim against the Plaintiff.
The financial impact, if any, is subject to the court ruling, in the unlikely event, in favour of
the Plaintiff.
This announcement is dated 8 February 2013.
