The results for me personally are a little disappointing, the revenue shown growth as indicated by the export volumes, but the increased revenue did not translate to increased profit. The reason given that is due to increase in cost does not bode too well with me as well because this indicates difficulty in pricing that still very much prevalent.

I had an expectation that we are already in recovery mode and will be able to price higher going forward, guess we will have to wait and see, the effect of the new tariff announcement should trickle in over the next 2 years as we slowly crawl to 2026 as buyer and sellers slowly adjust their buying pattern to suit the new tariff days starting 2027.

Let's see.

Personally I think the price now is very much forward looking beyond the coming QR, and the QR should technically not affect the price much unless it is very much below/above the expectation prior to US's tariff announcement. General consensus before the spike is that we should be recovering smoothly, so I expect improved profitability from previous QR.

Hi again Cerubic!! While we have a different stance than the US on gaza war, I personally don't think we will get sanctioned/tariff imposed because of that. #1 because we are not that huge/loud, and #2 because its pretty much US + Israel against the world, don't think US would be reckless enough to tariff the whole world for that.

Unless of course, if we decide to provide some actual aid to palestine, then we may be putting ourselves at risk. But at that point, tariff or not is least of my concern.

I can only say that expectations are high, and you are right that expectations have not been met/barely met over the last 2 years. Hard to be certain what will be announced this week, but the export volume seems promising. Without insider info, its everyone's own judgement. But I wouldnt recommend to bet on 1 QR for quick money, invest if you believe that the company will eventually meet your long term expectation.
