PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia records a slight jump in its new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (Apr 29), after confirming 72 new infections among returning students from Indonesia.

The 72 are related to the "Pesantren Cluster" detected among Malaysian students who returned to the country from Indonesia’s Magentan region earlier.

“Out of the 94 new cases reported today, 72 are imported cases involving Malaysians who returned from Indonesia.
