Kaikai. Big part of the income is from interest earned from cash. Hope that will not change much after distributing the cash.

KaiKai. RM0.98 does not equal to 44% upside.
Example, price RM2.00. Announce to pay RM0.98.
Price up to RM2.20.
After paid, the price ex to RM1.22.
Actual gain is 20% only.
But big question is after announced, how will the market react.

HOHUP (Trading Buy, TP: RM0.945). In the sell-off over the past two months, HOHUP saw its share price retreating from a high of RM1.09 to last week’s low of RM0.82. Nevertheless, the share price appears to have marked a bottom and is poised for a short-term technical rebound.
The share price closed at RM0.86 yesterday, up by 1.5 sen (+1.8%). With yesterday’s bullish move, both the Stochastic and RSI indicators have turned upwards from oversold levels to reflect a pick-up in buying activities. Of note, the current technical picture bears a strong resemblance to the previous sell-down and subsequent strong rebound during the Aug-Sep 2015 period (see chart). Should history serve as a guide, we would expect HOHUP to retrace around 61.8% of its recent downward move towards the RM0.96-RM1.00 resistance. For this trading strategy, traders should aim to take profit at RM0.945 (3 bids below RM0.96 resistance), while setting a protective stop-loss of RM0.805 (3 bids below RM0.82
support).

Rights issue create more shares, lower EPS. Existing warrants price will drop.
But if the rights issue bring in more income, EPS up, warrants will up.
No fixed answer.
Existing warrants exercise price may be adjust because the mother share price adjust due to rights issue.

His performance was bad. Hope the stock can be cancelled by selling all shares and returning all cash to shareholder. Or at least share bay back to narrow the discount.

98% is good. Thanks.
But ... . . """"Oil price is very low now, and the rebounding of oil price in the future 2 to 3 years is going to push up the demands for pipes, valves and fittings, in the global markets."""""
Are we timing the market when will the oil prices rebound?
Don't get me wrong, i like this article, just to highlight a minor inconsistency.

Read from blog..
Assuming you bought a counter at RM1.00 and they make RM0.20 (good right?) every year for 10 years. The price increase and trading in a range of RM1.30 to RM2.50. You didn't sell because they are still a very good counter. Suddenly world economy crash and the company started making losses and trade below RM1.00. What you get? They made so much money yet you get nothing.
Assuming you bought another counter at RM1.00 and they make RM0.20 per year. But they pay you 60% as dividend (60% payout ratio = RM0.12). Same case above, after ten years they trade below RM1.00. But what you get? RM0.12 X 10 years dividend =RM1.20. At least you take back your capital plus profit.
Your return on investment is capital gain PLUS dividend. Always look for company that has consistent dividend payout
