We should be more concerned about the weakening economy and investor confidence.

We are all very concerned about the economy and the pandemic. But staying home and not doing anything wont help us either.

So best thing is to help ourselves financially rather than hoping for handouts from a cash strapped govt.

EPF is earning interest for members lending shares to shorties.

If the counter being shorted is strong fundamentally, there should be no worries from the investors as the price will rebound strongly and shorties burnt badly.

Some counters are overpriced and shorting will bring it back to more realistic value, thus allowing new investors to buy in.

Better to learn how to adapt and take advantage of the shorts rather than complain, which will come to nothing.

Its a good wake up call to all the directors who gets paid just to attend meetings and nothing else.

The six are independent directors. They are paid allowances but are they performing their duties?
