Let me share a thought with you. Many says... in next few months or soon will come share market down turn Bear market will rule. Even WArren Buffet signal something say so.
They say the stock price in USA will be halves by the time it happen.

For me that is to create fear in advance....
I admire and respect those anaysts... So I also warn you in advance that it will come.... but again there is confliting view.. For those who think oil price down is good for certain industries.. but for which industries.... Airline , manufacturing , transport company .... shipping .. common help me out here.... so in my opinion... it has to be good for certain industries...

The low oil price is impact will only be felt 6 months later not immediate... so timing is important.

That is to say... when hubline start move... and when made profit.. secure it and keep cash... and nibble slowly in market...... What Warren buffet sat will be true....

So invest in industry that is beneficiary of low oil price.. once in the life time opportunity.

After 6 months.... they are confident oil price will go up again....

They say oil price will hold for next 6 months ( short term view) and we see what the impact for the shipping company. One of major cost is fuel. Lower fuel better profit for Hubline and the rest of shipping agent.

So close don't give up. In our trading our supplier use hubline shipping agnet to sent container to us. This company I am familiar. It will go up.

We just hope new is true.....

We have all hold so long , why not hold a little longer. we have gone though all the storms last two weeks which shaken most of our faith but yet we are still here holding . We have seen the worst storms yet the price of hubline is within (what range) all of us are so familiar now....

Just wait a few more weeks before window dressing and next qtr report ... then we can all make decision together... For me the most regard I have is I do not have the fund to pick up anymore when the price drop further... don't get me wrong ... I wish the price will fly too.

Oil price down .... will be good for hubline next qtr. I don't expect anything great on next report but should be slightly better than last quarter.

Chief executive officer, Datuk Tajuddin Atan, said the bourse found that fund managers were keen on the Malaysia story and Malaysia’s unique growth potential as Asean’s multinational marketplace.

“Asean is gaining as a viable investment destination and we’re pleased that our marketplace is rising to the fore again,” he said in a joint statement with RHB Investment Bank.

Bursa Malaysia and RHB Investment Bank have teamed up for the fifth year to hold Invest Malaysia Hong Kong, which ended on Tuesday.

The roadshow targets a mix of large Hong Kong-based funds, family funds and hedge funds. RHB Investment Bank chief executive officer, Mike Chan, said the group of companies at Invest Malaysia Hong Kong 2014 represented over US$60bil in market capitalisation and was a showcase of the diversity of Bursa Malaysia-listed companies, which ranged from large flagship names to mid-sized and small-cap companies.

“We anticipate a strong pick-up following this investment roadshow and RHB Investment Bank, with our regional arm established in Hong Kong, is well-suited to connect these funds out of Hong Kong into the Malaysian marketplace,” he said. — Bernama

Patient long term investors have been handsomely rewarded. There will be plenty of economic thunderstorms ahead, but hiding in inflation is eroding cash. Attempting to time the market is a recipe for financial disaster.

So tomorrow 14.10.14 ... I posted it will be bull run start... for Bursa Malaysia of course not the whole region. Last Friday Dow Jones drop 115 points and just now check Bursa only drop 5 points.

So will there be a bull run starting tomorrow... we will see.

In my opinion ... the budget is quite ok . Less business and personal tax .. more handout.
.. where will the extra money channel too.. Oil price down....Foreign fund exit almost coming to the end.. Soon Bursa Malaysia dust will settle... the correction in Bursa Malaysia will be lower....

and the price will stabilize... then what happen next ..

In my opinion ... it will be for Bursa Malaysia.. Read some where... when our index drop below 1800 ... local fund will come in and support... and price will be up again... That is the time local fund will buy cheap... and after that what happen.. of course will want to sell with profit and higher... Bursa will experience bull run... then retails like us yes you and me also get excited..
and will join in... How much bad news can the media come out... as price drop most recently.. It is already factor in.... all the bad news.... We do not have a major world financial collapse yet... no such new pointing to it... some agreed just a major correction...

By the way I am not atara .. but look like we share the same investment technique by the post of atara.

For the newbies , able to go though this period now is the most important learning curve in one experience . This is not only experience come into action but so it our emotion , reasoning and faith in the counter we bought. What we decide now will determine who we are as far as we investor , trader is concerned in the future.

Hi I am still holding . We all just wait for budget 0n 10 and c what happen. No one can predict the price up or down. and see what happen on 14.10.14. I am on this long term.
All about opportunity cost. Is there another better counter to invest. All I know is all counter most is still in consolidation. Cannot see any light yet on most counter. So stay and hold.

Malaysia-listed shipping company, HUBline bounced to profits of MYR2.02M ($640,000) for the third quarter of 2014 from a loss of MYR163.17M in the same period last year. The increase in profit is mainly attributed to provisions for impairment of MYR154.2M that was taken up in 3Q13.

In addition, the lower administrative and finance costs also further augmented the profit margins. Meanwhile, revenue increased by 2% year-on-year to MYR92M at 30 June 2014 from MYR89.5M. The company will focus on productivity, cost efficiencies, and prudent capital management, while maintaining HUBline's leverage to any improvement in the external business environment.

In the meantime, HUBline eyes for a restart of its fledgling oil and gas (O&G) support services division, which the company had previously wrapped up during the financial crisis in 2008. "Our operational and technical teams are ready," said Dennis Ling, executive chairman and CEO of HUBline. "It will be a natural progression for us."

The company was said to be in talks with potential joint venture partners to charter offshore supply vessels and may purchase anchor handling tug supply ships, standby vessels, and accommodation barges in view of high domestic demand for O&G support services.

Ling is also upbeat on the shipping market saying it is on the course of gradual recovery. "The shipping industry tends to recover very sharply. When the tide turns, we will be there to catch it."

That the only asset we need to know and management is doing it best at the moment. Once cash flow come in for Gaharu business..... sell the tree , sell the leaves.... then it will turn over for good.

If my memory serve me correct.... Compugate is once a darling stock... above rm 3.00 once upon a time. One guru once told me... study their asset ... If they have land .... then it is never wrong to invest... Have money but no land also dangerous ... Land valuation always up never down.
