My next entry point is 2.09, it should be a long way to go. Not necessary that the next quarter result will be bad because the company's management do opined that Karex could yield good profit from the strengthening USD. News here: "The strengthening of the US dollar against the ringgit could fuel double-digit growth from last year’s condom shipment of RM431 million."

@kinfatt999 being the largest cdm manufacturer with good access to markets and rubber supplies worldwide, it is one of the best non large cap counter you could own. Buy and accumulate slowly. Because of price volatility, it is not wise to sailang so buy successively.

Plan and calculate several steps of up and down, and buy successively in a distributed manner. You have better chance of buying near the bottom in such way. Do not throw in everything abruptly. One thing to highlight also, rubber price is still low compare to historical values.

This is a very good information. Thanks for pointing this out.

Seth Klarman once said : You must buy on the way down. There is far more volume on the way down than on the way back up, and far less competition among buyers. It is almost always better to be too early than too late, but you must be prepared for price markdowns on what you buy.

Ann Joo is very sensitive to iron ore price movement, it spikes up strongly every time iron ore price crosses its 50 simple moving average line.

For pharmaceutical products yes, the European system have a rule that unless you are in EU, you cannot sell pharmaceutical products around. But Karex is a consumer product, unless there is a matching producer (in terms of production capabilities, price, etc.) in Europe, it should be business as usual.
Also, there will not be an embargo of UK based product in EU, not even an embargo of Malaysian/Thailand/etc. exports where Karex actually stands firm in, what should we worry? As the USD would rise in value and Pasante has strong footprint in local UK market, I foresee a profit making opportunity for Karex than a total loss. Imagine if (but not a likely scenario) there is no more condoms flowing in UK market from EU.
But I agree with @bestbuy that we should not bottom fish abruptly now, calculate stages of price and buy successively.

The European could be friendly to us too. Example, they have anti dump policy for metal imported from China but our company like Chinwell etc. are excluded from that.

Only if we have a sign that the rental would move away from Sunreit's assets, or the spending sentiment of the locals would deteriorate; we otherwise could expect Sunreit to conduct business as usual. Another challenge could be online buying but that could hardly replace the windows-shopping culture of Malaysian. We have had so many financial challenges lately (1 MDB, falling oil price, GST, etc.) but the spending habit of the locals remain (almost?) the same.

Definitely a good stock for trend following investor. I am accumulating more.

The raising USD will drive up the value of Uchitec's future revenue. Brexit doesn't mean the demolish of Europe as a whole, and Uchitec business in Europe still have its niche. So business as usual.

Funds like ASN3, etc also buy REITs as a portfolio diversification strategy.
2016-06-25 00:11 | Report Abuse
Brexit and this stock price still up. People are selling their other stocks to buy REITs, more stable margin protection strategy.

No barrier. Karex has dominant share in condom making industry. Not allowing Karex into Europe is like disqualifying Apple's products in a market. Apple is not something in need by the people but condom surely is. Karex business is not limited to retail, in Europe and other western countries, it is common for teenagers to take free condoms from local clinics. Karex is a supplier of those clinical condoms too.

It is interesting to know her action of buying more units triggered your euphoria.

Well we never know when we would reach the lowest bottom so buying its way down is an optimal option. Karex won't go lower than 2.00 I guest now could be a good time to accumulate. I am waiting for 2.09, finger crossed.

Dow Jones theory says stock will remain trending upward until something turns up to stop it. Would there be a drastic incident that would stop AAX from continuing its growth? Not likely.

Exactly, they should instead just buy a (smaller) position and wait/buy successively when the price is descending, rather than waiting it to get low (?) and bet the whole fortune into it.

@xexlone :D that was a calculated value I follow since 2.4x for this round of accumulation.

Stay or exit, the house price would remain high in Britain and people needs accommodation. Housing is natural needs, has nothing to do with local political changes.

Brexit would give them better capacity to decide independently to whom they should conduct business with. It is actually a plus point for investors. Even if Brexit would happen, there would be no abrupt business changes from the current state, until a deal mutually agreeable by both sides is established.

The stock has been "valued" by players up to RM 4.++ several times, before bonuses were given. That's the price investors (the players) would value it.
The fair value you mentioned is for the case where you would buy and hold the counter and have no real idea of the investors' sentiment. Then you can use that to judge the potential return based on the outlook of growth and profit redistribution.
Buyers would panic sell now, probably. As the positive signs return, most (if not all) of them would come back again.

+1. Looks like it would rally up further. I am trend-following this stock now.

RM 2.xx ++ is really cheap. Unless you have a clue that Karex would go bankrupt la. Then I couldn't help much on that.

So let say the price would rise up more than RM 2.5, to RM 4 even, before the next 5 years, isn't now a good time for her to accumulate?

Lol, if she is playing swing trade she rugi. She is long term investor, only cash out after 5 years or more. What do you think? Karex will go bankrupt soon and will never rise up to > RM 2.5 within the next couple of year?

Another plus point is Uchi always give bonus units following by dividend. This increases your total sum of dividend money received.
2016-06-15 12:47 | Report Abuse
If you are investing big, those dividend returns could be substantial. Reinvesting them would yield the powerful return of compound interest. For small investors, dividends bring down your average price per share and increase your chances of selling them for profit in the long run.

If you are gambling your entire fortune into a stock, every other counters is trap too. Buy in small amount as it descent in price and accumulate. Then sell when the price rise up again. 2.xx still considered cheap in this counter.

Stock: [UCHITEC]: UCHI TECHNOLOGIES BHD
2016-06-27 16:22 | Report Abuse
Yeap, the impact is totally outside of Malaysia. Uchitec business with, I.e., Bosch has no relevance with the current UK changes. As the USD may rise, we expect Uchi's current contract gain would increase by value. The EURO currency would increase in value too when the industries, in the worst scenario move back to Europe.
