It’s not possible to know if the share price will go up or down in short term la, just collect and sit tight la. The boss and managers keep working hard everyday and investors just need to put in money and sit tight. You sit diamdiam from 2014 till now, you are sitting at handsome gain plus goood dividend, I don’t think anything has changed now, just buy more..

Good to be back, Myeg management realised that depending on local government alone is a huge risk to the business and has been using the good cash flow generated to expand services to include private sectors as well as overseas, that’s good initiative and we start to see some fruits. Furthermore, I don’t see any evidence yet that myeg is completely out of business with the current government, it looks to me it’s the opposite, building relationship and trust with the “new client”. It will go well.

Business will not always be smooth sailing, there are contingencies, internal and external issues arising every day, invest the money and let management sort it out, invest in the business model. A downturn can last few months or few years but it presents opportunities for new investors.

Guys, there is no more FWR starting Jan18. Already ended half a year, the new replacement program is non-concession.

Short term will see if myeg can secure back the SST EMS contract, it definitely have upper hand.

Long term will see overseas expansion and non-government contracts, like motor trading, FW hostel etc. So far so good, for investment, not trading.

No issue too on all the cost-cutting measures and scrapping of costly projects, I think what we are hoping for from the new government is their plans to bring in new revenue. Keep saving and reducing cost is necessary but can not be the only way forward.

GST future probably not so bleak, SST will need more monitoring because it's one of its weakness. Would be wise to just change the dongle system to adapt SST, this can be done based on TS Wong, government saves RM150m and no need to go through the hassle again, of course open tender is very welcomed.

用脑筋想一想，如果你是希盟政府，你会不会用政府的钱来养活巫统的公司，让他们有足够的政治献金来对付自己。

Just posting a fact here, there is no absolute need to go through myeg services, just do it elsewhere and offline. Even if u do it online, government still have all the revenue, you can opt out the additional offers by myeg. How myeg squeeze people money?

PH government will appreciate the good services and value the business is providing and not blindly abolish or cancel it due to unproven links to the old government. Even some of the big construction projects are not called off immediately but renegotiate. Open tender is good as it will prove/disprove myeg competitiveness in the industry. I believe directors will work out with the new government and get a win-win closing, the recent electronic bidding system from JPJ (new government) is a good start.

Please take note that NTA alone shouldn't be used to evaluate a company, any business, without any contract, is of no value.

Thanks relaks for clarifying, I may have understood wrongly but the information is from quarter reports section B5. A direct linkage of government system to the banks will be of best interest to all Malaysians but it takes time, collaboration and know-how. I am happy to see PH government invest heavily in this aspect, a system good enough to replace MYEG's.

Looks like people really hate myeg so much, or the previous government. Herd mentality sometimes wins, it may go down another 80% from current price, better sell all your holdings on Monday.

Myeg has msc status until 2021, doesn't need to pay any income tax until then and with low operational cost, it explains the high net margin of ~50%. In fact, if you don't want to use myeg services, you can go queue, deal with all the paper works or find a third party, despite all these, growth continues to be healthy. I agree that the margin will be compressed but continual volume growth will offset it so the overall impact may be minimal and short termed.

On whether this is a crony company, I have no comment, so far it's been based on speculation and most are not proven, what I see is that myeg has a strong track records of 17 years and a steady awards of government contracts. Who can justify the cost PH government has to bear if it takes back all e-services, furthermore providing it free to the people?

I am not forecasting how low the stock price will go in next 1-2 months but the lower it is, the more appealing the investment opportunity.
