Pada tahun 1972, seorang eksekutif memperolehi RM800 sebulan. Walaupun pendapatan rendah, apabila dinisbahkan kepada harga hartanah pada waktu itu, dia masih mampu untuk membeli sebuah rumah teres 2-tingkat di Petaling Jaya dengan kos RM19,000.

Pada 2012, eksekutif yang sama mungkin akan mendapat RM8,000 sebulan (10 kali ganda gaji yang diterima pada 1972). Walau bagaimanapun, rumah teres 2-tingkat yang sama di Petaling kini berharga RM700,000 (37 kali ganda harga 1972).

Rakyat Malaysia terutamanya anak muda mengalami kemerosotan kualiti hidup dan dibebani hutang. Pakatan Rakyat akan mengurangkan beban generasi muda Malaysia dengan memperkenalkan polisi-polisi berikut:-
1. Memansuhkan cukai eksais kepada harga kereta yang lebih murah
3. Menghapuskan monopoli dan penswastaan oleh kroni dan memperkenalkan persaingan pasaran yang sihat untuk memastikan keperluan dan perkhidmatan seharian berada pada kadar rendah
3. Memperkenalkan pengangkutan awam yang lebih efisien dan murah

Dari segi perumahan, Pakatan Rakyat akan membina 150,000 unit rumah mampu milik (kos rendah kurang daripada RM 75,000 dan kos sederhana kurang daripada RM 250,000) pada penggal pertama supaya anak muda mampu memiliki rumah sendiri. Kami akan melabur RM5 bilion untuk membina rumah mampu milik pada tahun pertama, diikuti dengan RM2 bilion mulai tahun kedua sehingga tahun kelima.

Mana-mana keluarga yang kurang, Kerajaan Negeri akan tambah bayaran wang sehingga mencukupi RM 770 tiap-tiap bulan. Ini merupakan satu pembaharuan sistem pemerintahan di bawah Pakatan Rakyat.

Kerajaan Pakatan Pulau Pinang telah membelanjakan RM 100 juta dalam 5 tahun ini untuk menjalankan program-program kebajikan seperti berikut:

1. Bantuan bencana dalam tempoh 24 jam yang bernilai RM 500 – RM 5,000.
2. Diskaun 50% setahun kepada lesen penjaja dan nelayan
3. Bantuan air kepada rumah ibadat

5. Pembinaan Pusat Dialisis CAT di Balik Pulau – RM 30 setiap rawatan yang paling rendah di Malaysia kepada golongan miskin.
6. RM 100 setiap tahun kepada warga emas , orang kurang upaya, pleajar emas, dan ibu tunggal
7. Peruntukan untuk bantuan sekolah agama rakyat
8. RM 1000 untuk urusan jenazah
9. RM 1000 untuk IPTA emas
10. RM 200 untuk anak emas

My point #1: is RM80 a "small amount" for those who BN are trying to "help".

rm80 x 12 months = rm960, that's like getting a month's bonus at the year end!! Is it small?

My point #2: politicians should really think twice before they say something. In this case, it seems like Nong Chik failed to understand the plight of the RAKYAT (either that, or he doesn't care)!

Strong turnout in 'city of civil servants' as PAS begins Putrajaya campaign


Apr 18: Pakatan Rakyat's quest for Putrajaya parliamentary seat got off to a roaring start last night as some 10,000 people in the administrative capital gathered to listen to PAS candidate Husam Musa at the party's first ceramah which also featured president Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang.

Husam engaged the crowd by repeating Barisan Nasional chairman Najib Razak's now-famous lines "Are you ready for BN?", and the crowd responded "No!", in the same way they answered Najib during BN's Chinese New Year open house last February.

"If this is the case, victory is ours. Who says Tengku Adnan (Tengku Mansor) cannot be defeated?" asked Husam....

泰国发电业者以比我国高出三倍的市价，购买天然气来发电，但消费者仍能享有比我国低22%的电费。在商业用户方面，同样的泰国比我国低48%。

为何在泰国的发电生产成本比我们高但电费却比我们低廉？

其实我国电费涨价问题是与独立发电厂（IPP）合约息息相关，而该由国能与独立发电厂（IPP）公司签署的合约偏向后者。合约也注明所有独立发电厂（IPP）发出的电数量...国能TNB必需全包接受。以致我国的储电量高达40%，比很多先进国还高....日本的储电量是12%，美国是15%。

高达40%的储电量虽然没被使用，但那些生产成本当然也是被计算在我们每月缴还的电费单里面的。以致我们必须承担更加高昂的电费。

问题是我国真的需要那么多的储电量吗？到底是谁在搞鬼？
