kk7198, possible with higher gold prices in Nov and Dec but not in Oct. is there inflationary pressure in the cost of production? $20m is not my main concern as I think gold and silver prices will go up much higher, little by little, until shorties are wipe out and the continual USD money printing creating and exporting inflation worldwide. to me its more about inflation hedging. But then of course, higher output is added bonus. Jan 2024 to Mar qtr results shud be much better in comparison to impending qtr report.

silver has yet to shoot up. its a matter of time as silver is both an investment and industrial metal. Gold is now a tier 1 asset, in 2020, I think, under Bank of International Settlement or BIS for short, which is the Central Bank of all countries National Bank like our Bank Negara Malaysia. Previously, only USD is classified as Tier 1 asset.

As it is Gold and Silver have been manipulated by West issuance of paper certificates to short and buy. China had 2 banks, one is ICBC and another, I cannot recall name, were members of the the LBMA OR LME ( uncertain of which) but withdrawn as member because of all these manipulation. Hence one of the reasons for the formation of Shanghai Gold Exchange, SGX is still using USD as reference. But for how long, we dont know.

My guess is that the West also see the end of USD and hence set up cryptocurrency, which is different from CBDC to take the shine off gold and silver. To me, cryptocurrency is a cyberspace asset. Gold and silver are tangible and usable.

Just want to say, that USD is all over the world exporting inflation and it is going to be a rough ride with geopolitical fights. Precious metals is the only safe assets. Crypto was CREATED to draw attention away from gold.

Bank Negara is a regulatory body and owning and running a business is not within the ambit to its existence. I think BNM can buy forward and on spot price from Bahvest. most probably from an accredited broker. Have to assure the quality of the bullion,

I also think the Southsea gold concession will be cancelled and awarded to Bahvest, logically,
Kertam is, to my little knowledge, very well run and I know its not easy to run plantation company. At least it is performing better than BV,

Read B reply to Bursa query on the letter of demand by Southsea. Basically it is trespassing since 2017 because the W land leased n the terrain not conducive to building the mining operations and hence have to place it on land in Sothsea. Letter came about because of the hostile EGM. Accordingly the land leased to B remain intact for the remaining years.
B was allowed to place the operation on Southsea because of goodwill of same owner and directors of Bahvest and Southsea.

How I wish FL n gang can states thier reasons seeking for the 3 Bahvest directors. boohoohoo

Anyone read or know about agreement between Southsea and Bahvest? I dont recall reading about this agreement in past annual reports.
I understand that the letters of demand recurred every 6 months for past 3 years.

South sea is 75% own by DL and 25% by A. Both of them on the of Bahvest Board. What were they doing all these years? Why are the trespass, if no agreement?

Are they conflicted all these years? Selling off their shares do not wash off their duties.

News reports may not be fully accurate too. Maybe SC should step in because we may not have access to the actual situation.

In any case, we are into a precious metal supercycle for a couple of years I belief, so I am holding on to my shares. I find the event unfolding very weird as the qtr report is coming out this month.
