This is the usual pattern of Ptrans. It may be up for a few cents today, and then lose half (or all) of the gain the next day.

it doesn't matter if the stock is sleeping or is being hotly goreng, it's all about CREDIBILITY. If a prestigious Investment research company can make such a blunder and doesn't bother to make a correction statement, they should shame on themselves (if the 0.53 target price they put in the latest publication is a mistake)

agree that PublicInvestment Research should make a formal announcement to clear the doubt, why do they want to wait until the next publication? This is kind of irresponsible and scares potential investors off.

@karkaylow，这支股很多年前就一直被吹捧是长期值得投资的股，它最高的股票价是4年前发行right issues时，那时大概去到RM0.40（也就是现在的RM1.20），然后就一直下滑，长期徘徊在RM0.20-0.30之间，那时大环境没有不好。后来它上mainboard，又有人出来说它多好多好，但股价依然一样，因为没人goreng。covid时的股价下滑最严重，但那是特殊情况。所以那些看textbooks说fundamental&technical analysis很重要的人真的要认清股票市场的事实。没人goreng，一切都是枉然。如果长期放着，dividends只是比现在covid时期的FD interests好而已，基本上没什么吸引力。

Amvest is always so optimistic, i've been monitoring this counter for more than 4 years, it hardly goes beyond RM1.05 (RM0.35 before consolidation) even when the market sentiments were good

very disappointed with this counter, all the way from 0.9x to 0.79 despite all the good news, every time when it hit 0.9x (or 0.33 before consolidation), it sure went back to the starting point

@Knownfact, I personally don't think its previous penny stock position was the main reason why it didn't attract institutional investors. You can see that many penny stocks have been goreng up & down constantly, but Ptrans was always not under the radar of big players, which seems very strange to me. Also, 5 years is a relatively long period of time for many counters, so Ptrans is not that "new". I think the business model may probably be the issue (i.e. bus stations cannot make big money is the stereotype). Ptrans has released some much good news over the years (new terminals, advertisement income etc) yet failed to attract big players. What's more important, they made a profit even during the pandemic, however, in spite of this, it didn't manage to push the price up much. I wonder why.

@Knownfact, this is exactly how I felt over the past years (I've been monitoring this counter since mid 2017). This counter is not for a quick profit, but if you invest heavily (and hold) and hope for moderate dividends, then you should go for it (this is not a blue-chip counter, but can be treated as a blue-chip counter because it pays dividends 3 times a year at 0.0075-80 each, do the math yourself). Don't buy above 0.85 (to be safe, buy below 0.80 if possible), then you probably won't lose any money yet making a meagre and steady profit from the dividends

please don't get me wrong, I didn't mean that Ptrans is a bad counter, I just suggested the newbies that don't judge this counter based on its QR results (i.e. good QRs = uptrend) and the recommendations of the investment companies, this counter just cannot get that far (for the time being). Of course, if you buy low and sell high several times (don't hold), you can definitely make a handsome profit from this counter, just my 2 cents

the downtrend is expected after the issuance of PP, the PP holders are dumping to make a quick profit, just like last time

@ ElongMask, Jason King is correct, Technax just did a private placement not long ago, so this is 'another' PP

@123456 - the PP holder did sell the shares as soon as the announcement was made in the last private placement (last PP price was about 0.11, the share price then was somewhere around 0.18-0.20), my guess is based on previous experience. Techax bought a couple of companies which were on the brink of bankruptcy using the PP fund. These companies were owned by the CEO/MD of Technax, please refer to previous posts, someone has shared the news/insights

in previous PP, the PP holders sold the shares immediately after the announcement, so I'd expect a sharp fall in the coming days

@pang72, we all believe in green energy stocks, but the problem of TechnaX is that the person/people behind this company are mischievous

my perdiction: reach 0.23-0.25 before the New Year holiday , then PP announcement probably comes out by this weekend, or early next week, then share price free falls again :)

it's harder to push up the share price if the NOSH is getting too high!

the coke price was as high as what it's now before, but it didn't boost HUAAN stock price and profits then, so don't think the company's share price/profits are in accordance with the trend of coke price

if they just want to make quick money, why did they bother to transform their business direction from coke to technology/F&B/real estate? They can just stick with the old business and use the same unethical ploy to cheat people. So, when it first announced their new business direction, I did see hope in this company. sigh.

it's a shame. Technax has a very good prospect, it has a diverse business and invested in technology, why they did this dirty trick? it just shows that it's not a healthy company.

I thought HUAAN is going to sell the coke business, so how does it benefit from it?
