Despite winning contracts to supply medical IOT stuff, the stock is only 0.09?

It's ready to retrace its movement north again, if charts can predict anything. Maybe it can close around 0.70?

JT5774 @bowman: HLT uptrend since 17/07/2020 and it move slow and steady and according to TA it's moving towards the TP.

I like to think similarly.. but if you recall, the same happened when people anticipated high-results two months ago and when it did not measure up, it drop like a hot potato.. right now, no one knows when result will come up and what the company is up to. We can take the ESOS as yardstick and at 90sen, who knows if the staff will start selling. Buy 70sen, sell to market like us at 90sen, means a profit of 20sen over 70sen - what almost nearly 30% gain for just registering and letting loose. Now, that is scary, considering how much the directors were selling till this point. Just my two cents of observation this far. I could be wrong, and I hope I am. But I am out already, not chasing any higher than 89.5 simply because I dont know what results are coming.

who knows... there is no substantial news and the sudden rise is merely due to sentiments over careplus results. Even if it was the enforcement of facemask wearing on August 1, HLT doesnt even make masks.

looks like mother is almost dead at 895-900 and now the son is suffering the same at 535-540.. maybe tomorrow, if it doesnt slide in the next remaining trading hour!

carepls is almost rm3, this should at least be RM1.20 - but it isnt. Only advantage now is the unreported quarter results. If that hits the ceiling, perhaps it will chase back to its rightful place and position

These are ESOS for directors and staff totalling 26mil. That means they are anticipating a price increase - otherwise what is the point of giving ESOS lower than the market price although some companies do that. My guess is that all things considered, there could be some positive news soon. When a company makes good profit in bad times, it is time to give back.

This may add to the positive news anticipated of this company. When is the quarter report coming out? ESOS needs a week to exercise and approved for shares to be traded.

This counter could be facing a possible gap-up Monday since it is the only gloves related counter that has yet to reported its quarterly earnings, considering what Carepls reported. With what we can see from Carepls, and the earlier top 4, we can only anticipate how much profitability HLT will have to show.

To get closer to the estimate, however, you need to find out how much was the volume at last quarter when Covid just began and the fact that HLT sold at a discount to clear its old stocks. That volume, multiplied by a reasonable increase (when Covid peaked, say 2% more in demand) and multiplied by the current undiscounted price, you will have a closer idea of how much HLT has made and to be reported. And during that quarter, you also need to find out how many contracts have been signed for glove-dipping lines as although that will show you future profitability, it will also affect the current share price.

No point speculating until those unknowns described are known - then you will know the true value of the stock.

Perhaps yesterday's rise and holding at the last two hours of trade can give some indication. It could be investors who know something are taking positions or it could be nothing extraordinary. Whatever it is, whoever are holding earlier and still not selling, good fortune or bad luck will be known by Monday. Hopefully things will be looking up for this counter after so many roller-coaster rides of expectation. All the best to everyone.

Old news from two years ago - that was when the price was RM0.28. Does affect current fundamentals although it may inspire hope at first glance.

Maybe it will jump in 30min just before closing and trigger a limit up Monday? Who knows.

0.80 is the support for now. if this is breached, a reasonable wait would be at 0.72 thereabouts, looking at the volatility of the trades so far

Very true, dont chase high. Remember what it did past two weeks and how some of you lost sleep. If you already have, good luck. If not, no need to be greedy. This stock has dropped back to its 0.70 levels many times past 3 months, so it is not unreasonable to wait for the right entry. Blindly chasing is bad for the knees.

Cantik kan? The last hours of trade is a cause for concern - 10min periods showed inverted cross so many times. To those who have made their bucks today, well timed profit taking. Tomorrow who knows where it will head.

I agree with you that this HLT is worth as much as RM2 or even more, looking at that diversification. To me, if I was Buffet, I would consider owning it - lots of things check out towards profitability. Even the last unprofitability, which was due to clearing of old stock, is a well taken move - the company sold old stock at discount better than let the rubber expire and make tires. It shouldnt languish in this 0.70-0.80 range at all, if you ask me. But until and unless the big funds take notice of it (they call themselves bankers or smart money, I think), it is still an unpolished gem. I wish the company directors will take pride in letting their diverse business portfolio known - get a better investor relations expert, for pete's sake.

Not good - it has gone into the cloud. But if it breaks the 0.50 mark, then Monday will be a good day to harvest

Reversal will likely happen this afternoon after lunch. between 0.05 to 0.06 region perhaps. Momentum not very strong yet.

This morning, it broke the 0.74/75 resistance level. If after lunch the same happens and it stays above 0.80, tomorrow will be a better day

Anyone can guess why the shift in buying now focussed on warrants - yesterday warrants were rising faster in volume than mother share. Usually it is the reversed. Perhaps investors now realise that dollar for dollar, unit for unit, you can buy more warrants than mother share with the same amount of capital

Doesnt matter what I think. It is your money. You better think, friend. from what I have seen, there is no correlation between son and mother stock - only and unless the stock is above a certain price and the mother is barely affordable by mortals who will naturally chase the son

There will be ups and downs. Banking stocks will not for one thought that their market cap would be overtaken by such a small insignificant business as gloves business if Covid 19 didnt arrive. The question to ask if HLT supplies glove diplines to any of the top four or five companies, and if not, how many companies are they supplying to. Once you figure this out, then you will know if HLT's orderbook is filled and until when. Once this is determined, you will know that one part of the profitability is answered and if you use that to measure the current stock price with the number of stocks free-floating, you will know or not this if worth your time and money

Look, when you invest in this counter, you know that it is volatile. On days when least expected, it outperforms. When all similar counters are moving admirably, it sputters like an old VW. But the facts are:
1) This is a gloves company - if gloves are in demand, it will be in business.
2) As a gloves company, it's production is also quite large, hence if orders are in, it can easily fulfil them.
3) Not only it is a gloves company, but it has a toe in the rubber business - which means if supplies run out or materials cost go high, it will probably will be in better shape to weather the storm
4) Not only is it a gloves maker and all of the above, it is also a company dealing in dipping lines. So, if you need to expand, no matter how big your company making gloves are, you may need its services. If it needs to expand its production, it will be easier than many.
5) Considering all the above 4 points, and looking at the companies whose business are in gloves making (only) and evaluating their stock prices, your job will be to base your judgment of this stock's prices. Now, you do that at your own risk, depending on how much research you have put in. There is no free meal, you must know.

If you can do a detailed analysis of the company's fundamentals, can do an unbiased comparison of the statistics with companies that are in similar business, and then a projection of the demand for future of its products, then you will know how much this stock is worth. And when that happens, it is easy - whether you want to punt or invest. Now there is a huge difference and separate the men from the boys.

midzurl is right. but today;s trend is different in the sense that the warrant are more actively traded than mother share. if this momentum is maintained, WA will probably hit limit up faster then the mother share.. and i am beginning to wonder if it is because the discount on WA that is attracting sensible players
