Seriously, yeoh's departure is a concern. But no big company has not mapped out a succession plan, including Yeoh himself. If he is a good leader, he would have laid out all he needed for him to vacate his position without causing damage to the shareholders or causing them to jump ship. This is called corporate responsibility. Any leader worth his salt would realise this and not take lightly big corporate decisions. something to think about.

Vivocom Intl Holdings, a telecommunication equipment installation firm whose focus began shifting last year more towards construction, has clinched two construction deals worth RM37.8m. Last good news for Vivocom was that it was termed "Stock with Momentum". 30 days have gone by without any good news to hold the bullish sentiments. even though it has dropped almost by 30%. The company may be intact, but investors are still king.

way i look at it, it's dropping to 20sen level. even if it rises, and company needs funds, it can always give out rights issues. that way, it opens up share base. still think it can go higher than 30sen?

it's good to have opinions. at current rates, vivo is already oversold (almost touching 30% RSI). When market is not picking up, it usually means two things - retailers are scared shit and institutional investors are not buying because of reasons best known to them. either way, if you are investing, u have to decide whether this is a good company to hold for your specified terms and returns. as i see it, this is related to CRCC and CRCC will probably get the major development deals in Johor and maybe Malacca. If Vivo is already its inhouse contractor, unless it falls out big time, chances are that it will get the major part of CRCC's jobs. China-based companies are very realistic - do it or we get someone else.

look at the past six months, from instacom to vivocom.. the company has been pumping out good news, plus good results.. now prices get hit and people panic. Some big fish probably swallowing at 30.5sen .. when good news come to push up to 37sen, they make easily 20%, no?

Deals like this are not done over night and once done, they will see through for a year or two the very least. If you were China railways, you will also not waste time. Way I figure it, it is dropping to this level due to market sentiments. Relax. See how much have been swallowed up at 31sen and 30.5. With the AGM soon, who is to say those who swallowed up so much are doing so for the love for this company? Maybe they know something we people dont, and those who panic, suffer losses.

Vivo is pretty smart to link up with the China companies. it if now undersold and if u study the contracts it has signed and will sign, this is now a bargain.
