we are not concerned how much oil saudis produced for the world but the question is how much reliance msia economy are depending on oil money? msia is a net exporter of oil.

"Malaysia economy is improving because disposal income increase, saving from oil toward consumption." This is the official statement the govt would want us to believe in. Apart from retail petrol price reduction, we don't see anything else cheaper (only more expensive). Malaysia is not on the major exporters list because our export volume is not significant against the OPEC or Russia output but believe me, our govt rely very much on oil money when tabling the budget.

oil fields operated by IS has resumed....the middle east taikor, Mr Saudi has asked the world to get used to low oil price.....at this low price, nobody is going to cut production....it's low but still profitable....so i don't foresee any actions from OPEC

i expect knm to be the biggest local process equipment fabrication benefactor from the rapid project, if everything turns out as planned. this project is happening in our own backyard, look around malaysia, do you see another fabricator the same size who can them on? for me, this means that they will take the fattest part of the meat for awards to malaysian fabricators, leaving the so-so deals to others. just my personal opinion.....so short term, this counter should be still bullish. long term, depending how much profit they can make from their project execution. however, the caveat is, it's not the first time they screw themselves up for getting too many orders and spread themselves too thin.

when EPF ceased to be the substantial shareholder, it's good news for all other minority shareholders as they are the one driving the price down.....so it will be up from here,

for this counter, sometimes even the insiders got burned....enough said. don't bet your life on the insiders news, do some homework, earn some kopi money then pick another battle.

my prediction is next week it will fall to test 0.915 resistance.

since everybody here already factor in the news of RAPID and the financial close of the UK project, the golden question is whether will the price will go further after the announcement? Or we will see profit taking. Winning RAPID does not guarantee profitability in executing the project. We have seen in the past few years Gen Lee was busy in projects globally but it did not translate into profitability. Just my 2 cents.

yes you are right kcloh....that's why they have to milk the cash cow (aka Borsig) to list it in SGX. what i can say is....they desperately needed cash, lots of cash to continue running the whole group (except Borsig)

as far as i know, the financial Peterborough is not secured yet. even after securing the financials, the profitability of this project is still questionable.

I consider myself TA 1st, FA 2nd.....just personal preference. I prefer trading over investing, especially in KLSE, unless certain real solid bluechip counters, which I invest as a hedge.

it doesn't look like the price is going anywhere today (no big up nor big down), better hold and see how it's played out next week. however, it's another story if u play contra.

technically speaking....if cannot break 0.41 today, next week onwards will retreat to 0.3x.....and see if still got power to try again in few weeks time.....

among all the telco counters, digi is one of the darling for most investors....if it nosedive....not many counters will survive.....u sure u dare to enter??? let's not kid ourselves....

not necessarily good review from analyst....it's the public's perception....you see many good reviews issued by all analyst to many counters but they failed to move....still remember astro? good review by cimb, look at the price....

it could be dangerous for SKPetro as well.....the last time another fabrication busines purchase a huge company for strategic reason (or whatever reasons) ended up into cash flow problem ---> Mr KNM (purchase of Borsig Germany, almost equal size of KNM Group)
