They have very thick order book and can redeem themselves by managing their bottom line better, and negotiate with their end user for Covid19 related costs

ICON offshore one of the few profitable O&G counter. Play safe
2021-12-13 10:18 | Report Abuse
It’s all speculations and games played by syndicate and whales. They trigger panic sale, and then buy cheap ticket, then release good news, then market buy at high price and these syndicate make handsome margins

Price volatility would shoot above 5.5 cents. It’s all about earnings and creditors approval to inject more.

Diversify O&G investment, ICON Offshore going big.

It would be national embarrassment to drown Sapura, being a mini Petronas from Malaysia. They way it’s going, we will lose our local O&G players if there is no proper governance, funding and investment.

Anything is possible in this volatile market. Scomi went 4X, ICON went 7X.

Perhaps margin call and he is selling his stake to pay some bank interest
2021-12-09 10:25 | Report Abuse
Shahril would be dumb to let go his shares now when he has just recently purchased above 10 cents.
2021-12-09 09:23 | Report Abuse
I don’t think so. Stake is too high and they need to manage short term liquidity and most of their contracts execution pending payment from their customers. Their revenue will improve over time to slash the red

If creditors agree for additional cash injection for short term loan. Price will shoot up
2021-12-09 00:20 | Report Abuse
Tomorrow price goes up after Sapura indicate their production levels and plans to remedy short term liquidity.

Shameless Petronas claim big profit in Q3 but don’t pay their suppliers the COVID 19 claims. The can celebrate on their profit after stepping all their service partners.

Everyday is always some story. Let’s see how Sapura holdings twist the UOB claim.

Wait for Sapura to comment, and then see price action

Maybe UOB collecting. Who knows
2021-12-07 23:11 | Report Abuse
It’s all rigged in my opinion to benefit a selected group of people. They basically want to collect low price with such panic. In any case, Oil and Gas prices are very strong, and it would be strange to see Sapura won’t rejuvenate in this demanding environment, when other key players are already in recovery mode. They need to sort out cash and collection. They have big contracts in play, just need more time to execute and be profitable.

UOB got paid to falsify their findings based on rumours to shake the market and benefit those who are in this game. Let’s see how this chapter gets unfold. I would be surprised to see if PNB would liquidate as they have bigger stake in this. Sapura is probably negotiating with their creditors for short term loan. Otherwise they will resort for RI.

Panic sell over, let’s see if panic buy if it’s indeed margin call by Shahril and broker

Tomorrow news Sapura denies rumours of asset sale, then back to 8-10 cents, nobody knows all the big boys games.

PNB is holding 40% stake. Don’t think it will drown just like that. Something is cooking behind the scene.

It’s all a cycle. Let the market speak itself when they see next earnings report.
2021-12-07 10:33 | Report Abuse
@Nikmon. Possible, means it’s not PNB, it’s some big money investors flushed and domino the panic sale. However it’s no basis of bankruptcy as the Company can exercise so many options with creditors and rich with assets and contracts. It’s not like they have nothing ongoing like AAX.
2021-12-07 10:22 | Report Abuse
The movement today is triggered due to the Kasawari deal. Again, there is no national agenda to rescue local O&G entities and politicians busy filling their own pocket. Sapura need to overcome the toxic contracts to move in positive direction, let’s see.
2021-12-07 10:13 | Report Abuse
Just watch the game when they push up prices, it’s always some rigged movement
2021-12-07 09:41 | Report Abuse
It is also becoming an issue if Malaysia do not promote national agenda to Oil and Gas companies.
2021-12-07 09:36 | Report Abuse
AAX 24 billion debt can still survive in counter. Sapura only 1.4 billion debt previous earning, I think it is overstated panic scenario. It’s probably rigged to flush retailers out
2021-12-07 09:17 | Report Abuse
It’s big money game. They create the ruckus for panic sale then buy low and push up, and then make margin from the buy calls.
2021-12-07 09:04 | Report Abuse
They flush retailers out and buy back shares

PNB cost is more than 30 cents. Sharil also much higher. Would be strange for them to let this down. Let’s evaluate on their upcoming earnings

Every dip. I buy some to average down. One down for sure go beyond 20 cents, profiting each quarter and nicely done ICON. Let’s hope for the best

There seems to be no national agenda to help service companies or oil players. Only Petronas fat profit but other companies drown.

Stock: [SAPNRG]: SAPURA ENERGY BERHAD
2021-12-13 20:09 | Report Abuse
The problem with Sapura is they win nice work, but at expense of some loose T&Cs. Reading the direct cost report, seems like standby cost of vessel by them. Why not have a clause to recharge back to end user. Looks like some legacy tenders were not properly reviewed by their stakeholders from contracts, finance controller and legal.
