China manufacturers setting bigger and more factories in VIETNAM la..... please read my posting properly.
Those new big factories built by China manufacturers will compete for orders, management staffs, workers and resources.

how to go up if someone hv 10mil shares to sell? he and his gang are keep selling as his costs were around 4.80 to 5.00 They tried to sell as much as possible.

the new factory should be under as Malaysia segment. it means Malaysia existing revenue had decreased but the increase in profits were contributed by the weakening of RM.

the new factory is still making loses.

or else, wait for the qtrly results and you will see the down trend in volume.

I think other revenue maybe trading revenue and/or other non-core business such as plywood, rental income or bird nest.

both are large manufacturer from china n they hv better mgt and production team and bigger resources compared to poh huat and latitud.

beware!!! poh huat n latitud had lost a lot of orders to china manufacturers such as Glory Oceanic and Shing Mark in Vietnam. if not bcoz of weak RM strong USD, both poh huat n latitud results will drop.

Results should be better than previous yr same quarter of 17sen as the forex had increased by over 50%. therefore, the results should be at least 25.5sen (17sen x150%) and above.

They going to keep the reverse for better use instead of helping speculators to make quick gains like poh huat and liihen. They have brain unlike poh huat n liihen been conned by speculators to push its prices for short term n not sustainable.

the drop mainly due 1. to big fish selling (b'coz major shareholder not listening to big fish to con retailers). 2. orders downed due to china manufacturers expanded / built large factories in Vietnam and fight for orders by reducing margin. 3. new venture into lamination operations may have some losses. If without strong USD and weak RM, results surely going to drop.

I always believe in long term investment in good companies to get good returns. Short term investment will only allow you to make limited gains.
I invested in bought Nestle, Public Bank, Top Glove and QL and kept it over 5 years and some over 10yrs. You will enjoy very good returns from such good companies if you hold it for long term.
Never sell it and hope to buy back when it drops as sometimes those good companies never go down only keep going up. So conclusion, if you want to have good returns, you must invest for long term and not hit and run. short term investment will allow you to make a bit only.

only those who bought at RM4 and above will complain abt the 12sen dividend.
I'm very happy with the 12sen dividend as I bought it in 2013.

if you are long term investors like me who had invested in Latitude since year 2013, you will hope that the mgt keep the reverses for future instead of benefiting those speculators and short term investors.

12 sen is good dividend if you bought at below RM4. KYY came in at 4 and above.
bonus or split are good for speculators, selfish and short term investors.
No different for loyal and long term investors.
Bonus /Splits allowed major shareholders to goreng and cheat retail investors.
we are lucky that Latitude's mgt are smart enough not to be conned by KYY and his team.

there are no stoppers or blockers. there is only no followers for the makers to fool. anything above 7.50 is a good price to sell.

GP margin and PBT margin have been dropping consecutively over the latest 3 quarters.
GP margin is decreasing from 18.2% to 16.4% and PBT margin is decreasing from 15.6% to 11.8% despite the substantial increase in USD against RM.

Too many too often.
There are some problems in insurance claim as Vietnamese authorities and insurers are not stupid.

Priyanka's concern may be half right or half wrong.
China furniture makers may post major threat to Latitud.
Big manufacturers from China such as Guangdong Yihua Timber, Man Wah and Markor International are setting up huge furniture factories in Vietnam. These big boys have a lot of funds and they are going to sell their products below cost for first two years to kill of competitors and to capture market shares.
Such developments are not good for Latitud and in fact Latitud's factories in Vietnam already losing orders to such big boys and the average selling prices are falling due to competition for orders. Besides, Latitud also losing experienced and skilled workers to the new big players in Vietnam. Do not expect the management to give good dividend as Latitud has to conserve cash to compete with the new big boys in Vietnam.
So the outlook for Latitud is uncertain. How far can the share price of Latitud go further north from here? It is up to you to decide for yourself whether do you wanted to buy more of Latitud shares.

Bad luck, poor safety measures or unhealthy management?

very strange, in 2010 the fire was at Finished Goods warehouse and yesterday the fire also at Finished Goods warehouse. Both fires also happened at around 3am when nobody was around.

Announcement is expected to be out by today after 5pm.

There was a fire at its main factory in Vietnam early yesterday morning. two blocks were gone. a production line and a warehouse were destroyed by fire.
