Dear FB
I love your list. im fully loaded on your top 3 unfortunately I treated gadang as a short term gamble much to my regret. i don't think it would be a good time to go in again.
i have always thought of johotin but the word "tin" always put me off as my whole family business went down the drain during the tin crash 20 years or so ago. i know i shouldn't let that put me off but i guess i can put it solely down to tin phobia. (haha)
CBIP is awesome by the way. wish their dividends are higher though

FB you sound like a truly experienced investor. Any chance you could tell us what other shares you are holding?

Hi mbge7clt:
I think what it is saying is that if you own 10000 units you would be allowed to purchase further 5000 units of GOB shares at a price which will be set on a later date.
Furthermore, in addition you would also be given a further 10000 units of warrants for free. so even if you don't feel like buying further the additional 5000 units of GOB mother shares you would still be entitled to the warrant.
Sorry I cant confirm 100% for you but thatz my understanding. Im not very good with their share split lingo although I try reading them over and over again. usually I just wait and see what they give me haha

racktorick: may I know why you are investing in FGV? in my really humble opinion, FGV is truly a very unstable political counter. huge mess in there since dr.M I mean my question is, what were the key reasons as to why you purchased it?

meloas: tsh has mostly young plants in their plantations. just like jtiasa. however jtiasa's are maturing now. tsh even though their palms are maturing bit by bit they have loads more which are near fruition. coming from an R&D sector, tsh does have a really nice R&D facility for product development too. I can only see positives for this counter
2014-03-07 11:59 | Report Abuse
hi racktorick: its actually a no brainer. definitely sell fgv and buy tsh

2014-02-14 16:12 | Report Abuse
this is such an annoying counter. the target price is so high and yet I cant remember when was the last time this counter is green??? hahaha
2014-02-14 15:52 | Report Abuse
oh so to answer your question...its definitely worth buying. I think they have recently two or 3 new projects too
2014-02-14 15:51 | Report Abuse
hi air01557 - I have been looking at this stock since 2009. it has really good fundamentals and management. however the recent public bank target of 0.80...well...im not too sure. call me pessimistic but nothing is that easy when it comes to money I think. I'd be happy with 0.60. however im holding this for the long term - maybe for the grandchildren you know? for their education I mean. haha

anybody knows what the transfer price is?
2013-11-27 09:57 | Report Abuse
hmmm...am i right in assuming based on mezzo's estimations the price would be roughly rm0.90? after splits? (taking into account the price is RM6.08)that would also mean it would be easier to get it at the open market then? i just dont know when to buy it. now or later?

11.30 is absurd. no doubt about it.apologies CK. i thought you referring to RM8.(haha)
2013-09-25 11:54 | Report Abuse
actually it did reach rm8. :) a shame it is going down today :(
2013-08-16 14:23 | Report Abuse
what about selling both warrants and mother share together once the warrants are out and then buy back the mother share when the time is right? wouldnt be easier?
2013-08-16 14:20 | Report Abuse
hmmm....never thought of that. if that were the case, and the price do drop further, i guess i have to hold on to it further. my entry price was 8.45. so its a paper loss for me. i hope i do live long enough to see it shoot up to RM9 - as somebody above me pointed out earlier...this is a turtle paced share.

yeah i believe that too jason.somehow their profits keep going up and i dont think its reach its saturation point yet (the profits that is). besides, this salvatore dalik guy has not let me down yet. he predicted on ivory and it went up (after a few months of course) he also predicted on ijacobs but i dont like ijacobs because the name doesnt sound nice...just like gamuda. what kinda name is that. hahaha

jason: i dont feel congratulatory as i have been here for months and i lost out on other trades as my funds are locked up in rubbish shares due to my inexperience. like they always say...you gotta get burn to learn. either that or im really unlucky with shares. the ones i sell it goes up the next day, the ones i buy it drops the next day. *pulling my hair out*

all time high 0.43. the thing is that there is still no coverage on instaco by any of the investment banks.a shame really.

Nicole 76: thanks for your input too. it's tough to reduce all my counters to just ten shares as I inherited rubbish shares from my gran when she was an avid gambler. so all of them are making huge losses now. I remember my gran passing her chance up on nestle saying that "they are only producing milk" - how wrong is she now. haha.
