Food for thought. I would say kc's method is relatively much easier coz u are only analyzing what've already happened i.e. past business performance. Earning forecast strategy requires a lot of due diligence as well as high lvl of intelligence n experience for you to forecast correctly. Not to mention high lvl of risk.

It is a turn-around bet. Why? This company turned over a new leaf in 2014 when usd was shooting up from 3.3. Its balance sheet, revenue growth, profit growth, margin improvement, solid free cash flow etc make it really really attractive. The only big question is sustainability which is very much correlated with usd. If they are able to maintain their earning as per current, it could be worth up to rm3. What if usd goes downhill? To me, this is a very unlikely case if you look at those giant countries' economy like china, japan, europe etc. US is still a safe haven. In other words, usd will remain strong. So will SHH :)

It will emulate kesm. Just need next q to prove itself again :)

If shh is able to maintain its current earning and cash flow, it is worth more than 2.65. The question is how they could sustain what they have now if USD is not in their favor. :)

in short, everything looks good and improving. This company has just turned over a green leaf since 2013 and has been delivering improving results. But, the determining factor is USD. Not sure how severe its profitability could be impacted if USD reverses.

everyone has different strategy when it comes to investment. coz we are all different. different personality, different upbringing, different life experience, different work experience, different background, different knowledge, etc. As long as you are comfortable with your strategy and you make money, then congratulation! If you are not, KC's methods of "head i win, tail i don't lose much" might be a viable option for you. Remember, there is no "best strategy" in this world! :)
