Those short sellers could have been surrounded. Short selling =Short circuit and catches fire. So don't simply short sell a company with solid backing.

Those short the shares sometimes are playing with fire !

Moreover, I don't think the large shareholders will allow the shares to fall too much as some of their shares could be pledged to the banks for margin financing.. They would likely to support their shares to avoid margin calls.
So those shorties think of shorting YTL POWER shares , better think twice ! before

Let's come back to our Topic on YTL POWER. The main point is that when the share was around RM0.70 to RM0.80 many thought it was a cheap stuff. Not many bothered about it until they discovered it was a real gem. Once they realized its value, the had already shot up.

At this hour of the day, the real powerful power, YTL POWER at RM3.83 up RM0.15 chasing after the NATIONAL POWER (TENAGA NASIONAL) at RM10.50 up RM0.16.

TENAGA NASIONAL is also surging upwards. Hopefully YTL POWER can chase after.

Intermittent profit taking noted, but uptrend remains intact. YTL POWER is so resilient and powerful with its mega power unleashed.

Instead of pointing fingers or cursing, should we revert back to our discussions on YTL POWER which is the main topic in this forum , otherwise we will be unnecessary distracted.

Assuming the price of TENAGA NASIONAL remaining constant at RM10 .00 , I would use 50 % or RM5.00 as the target price of YTL POWER as at 30-06-2024.
I hope my target price is not too far.

You got your point. I would say TENAGA NASIONAL is the larger apple followed closely by YTL POWER. Both are in electric utilities. What's more, now YTL POWER has Data Center as an added asset.

Yes you are right cause I still have a lot to learn. I like to learn as long as someone's advice is logical, reasonable and justifiable.

Comparing with TENAGA NASIONAL price , there is still a big variance for YTL POWER to bridge the price gap.

Both mega companies are involving electric utilities and both are making billions of net profits but there is a huge disparity in prices.
