If you're looking in the rearview mirror, the answer sure looks like it should be "yes!" Over the past year, the top five biggest military stocks listed on U.S. stock exchanges gained an average of 36% -- and that's not even counting their dividends! Defense was one of the hottest sectors in the stock market in 2016. But 2017 might not turn out so hot for investors. The reason: Military stocks are not cheap anymore. Not even close.
The president is scheduled to address Congress at 9 p.m. Eastern and analysts are expecting him to offer details of his plans for military spending. Trump made the promise to governors at the White House Monday and said that the bump would be funded by savings across all other government departments. The president is scheduled to address Congress at 9 p.m. Eastern and analysts are expecting him to offer details of his plans for military spending.
The Office of Management and Budget said Monday that the budget would seek $54 billion in extra spending on defense, equal to a 10% rise. Trump’s budget proposal will be released in mid-March, according to OMB communications director John Czwartacki, and the focus on military spending will likely require Congress to pass a new deal to lift caps on military spending, which are slated to return in best defence stocks in 2017.
There are any number of reasons to like military stocks -- their ability to generate steady sales and profit in almost any market, their above-average dividend yields, and, of course, their recent outperformance on the stock market. But to my eye, there's one big reason to distrust the ability of defence stocks to continue to outperform in 2017.

It is said that thorough investigation and analysis, many penny stocks are simply going to fail. This failure can include companies that have great ideas and worthwhile products. A business must successfully deal with debt, raising capital, managing resources and building sales.
According to the last quarterly report (September 30, 2016) the company has enough cash on hand to cover its liabilities if it needs to. It showed a negative cash flow in that same quarter, but the previous entries of penny stocks to watch showed a positive cash flow. Its year-over-year revenues and gross margin were up in the same quarterly report.

Here are the Best Defence Stocks to invest in 2017 according their share prices and growth to invest in 2017
It’s not often that stocks offer big capital gains alongside a juicy dividend. Most stocks force the investor to choose, but defense stocks are in a unique position. They are a bulwark against the chaos of the outside world, meaning their fortunes rise as global conflicts worsen.
These five defense companies are perfect examples. They’ve all stacked up double-digit gains in the last year, while simultaneously offering their shareholders consistent dividends.
If I were to estimate which stocks are the best defense stocks for 2017, I would have to list the following five companies. All of them are diversified enough to catch some portion of Trump’s splurge on military equipment. Here’s a brief summary of each firm.
1. General Dynamics Corporation
2. Boeing Co
3. Northrop Grumman Corporation
4. Raytheon Company
5. Lockheed Martin Corporation

Military defense is always at the front line of a nation’s security. With political tensions on the rise around the globe, defense stocks are one of the smarter money-investing decisions to make. Spending on defense occupies a big share of the government’s budget. For this fiscal year in the United States, the government has set aside $854 billion in its budget for the Departments of Defense and State. With newly elected President Donald Trump occupying a seat in the White House and intensifying border protection, best defense stocks for 2017 are on the rise, allowing defense contractors to outperform the market.
The United States is No. 1 in military spending, totaling $596 billion as of 2015. In fact, military spending in the U.S. constitutes 37% of the global total, as reported by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. Compare that to the next seven biggest military spenders: China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, the United Kingdom, India, France, and Japan, which total $567 billion all together, as reported by the National Priorities Project. Military spending is pursued in countries whose foreign policy objectives include war and peace.
President Donald Trump has unveiled plans to boost defense spending at the expense of foreign aid and various environmental programs. Trump’s pledge to significantly increase federal spending related to national security was cheered by Republicans, while his team is preparing to create an infrastructure “task force” that will help carry out the ambitious federal spending program. Since Trump’s startling election victory in late 2016, stocks have more or less gained momentum. In particular, defense stocks see a boost.
